It is! QC also funds its post-secondary education at way higher rates too. They certainly don’t do everything right, but they have some priorities straight.

I read that as $7.30/hour and I still thought it was a reasonable rate.

Time that is their own, time that is not being quantified by an employer, time where they can be human adults and parents and find the mental space to look around and feel the blazing fullness of being alive.
I’m in this weird place of not liking Hillary yet feeling defensive of her whenever someone is attacking her in a sexist/misogynistic way, then I remember the blatantly or subtly racist things she’s said and I just get pissed and don’t want to defend her anymore.
