I feel that internet service has to get far better for an all digital future to work. Or at least work for everybody on every economic scale. It’s easy enough for people in urban/suburban areas to find decent internet. Harder for rural areas or soldiers in the military.

I’m not convinced. I haven’t stayed with Steam because I think it’s a good service, it’s pretty piss poor IMO, I stayed out of convenience.

None at all. That’s what’s so good about competition. BUT, as you say publishers set the prices. They’re not going to go to the Epic Store to make less money. I’ll agree that publishers should have agreed to release games exclusively on the Epic Store that have no already been announced on Steam.

Its still bullshit though. I'm willing to put up with cosmetic stuff and would have no problem with repair kits if Fallout 76 was free. But for a game I payed real money for this is the limit.
