Huh?
Huh?
I’m on a PS4 Slim and the only loading screens that take any kind of time are when you first boot the game and load into it. After that there may be a few more peppered in, but for the most part, “blink and you’ll miss it” is the perfect descriptor. Fast traveling for the first time blew my mind. In most games you can…
PS4 owners clearly haven’t spent much time in it, either. Very early on I checked out a couple for Bloodborne but it didn’t take long to get out of them. They were annoyances in terms of notifications and unsolicited porn offerings, which seems to be what they were mostly used for.
I’m not even mad, you reading comprehension-deprived twit. I stopped using the gaming PC connected to my main TV after I got a PS4 and stated that clearly, what in the world makes you think I’m mad that some people don’t want to connect a PC to their TV? I’m simply astonished that you’re trying to turn a very simple…
I mean, I’d build an empire but it’d be small and for me and my close people. Nobody else would need to know about it and I’d spend my free time doing shit I enjoy rather than trying to chase more money. Been doing that my whole life, the game isn’t fun anymore.
Rehab Addict Rescue
The husband of my girlfriend’s friend is one of these and it’s nauseating. It’s understood I’m making a very quick exit on occasions I’m unable to completely beg off the sad spectacle.
They’re in Texas. Never gets cold down there...
I don’t really give a shit how anybody wants to play games, but you’re being blatantly stupid in your responses and you know it. It’s fine if you don’t want to do any of those things, all of which are completely unnecessary but you knew that, too. Anybody who thinks they need to add HDMI wall jacks, or use an HDMI…
You need help.
Bean dip. Seriously. I think French's may still offer it up. Used to be sold in cans in the chips and such aisle.
They don't.
There are a couple ways to do it. If you’re using a laptop, HDMI into the TV, wireless controller/M+KB, done.
Unified Remote alleviates some of this, but nothing can solve the font size issues I forever run into when PC gaming on a TV from couch distance. It happens in console games, too, but I have more problems with it on PC.
It’s only a big hassle if you want to play games that really benefit from KB+M. However, speaking form experience, the PC I built for couch gaming saw much, much less use after I got a PS4. I’m not even sure why. It was no more or less convenient to play on one or the other. It’s just how it happened. The PC is now in…
This is also a concern of mine. Open world games are great and all, but I don’t think it works for what From has been making. But maybe they have some innovation that will change things up that isn’t simply, “ADD MORE STUFF!!!” to the map.
Deadspin(RIP) and Kotaku are sister sites under the same network of sites. Never much tried to rip myself off, but I suppose it’s a doable thing.
Out of curiosity, what games are more your style? Most games require some form of pattern memorization and while I get your point about wanting a save point at the boss, it’s a fair small sample of Souls games bosses you have to really work hard to get back to. Most of them are just a quick sprint.
My girlfriend walked in while he was in a scene. She stopped short, looked and said, “Is that Rickety Cricket?? Why isn’t he... Cricketing??” And I knew exactly how she felt.
Do I need to get over my need to take sides in Odyssey? I got it on a sale so it’s not a big deal if I never get back to it, but besides it being overwhelming(knew this going in, still took the dive) I get stuck in moral quandaries with every damn mission that comes available. I want to be at least somewhat good/on…
