This is very true, but eventually my kids will grow out of the backseat and not want to be seen with me anyway, even if I do have a Cayman GTS. If the car is a short-term proposition, this is a definite selling point for some.

In my humble opinion, and not that I could currently afford either one anyway, I would rather have a Cayman GTS than a 911 Carrera. Could you please define enjoyable for me? I’ll give you the MPG argument, as a look at a few manufacturers website shows a mixed bag - some are the same, some are worse, some are better, so it certainly depends on the manufacturer and model.
