I’m doing something very similar with my 1991 RX-7. I’ve intercepted the factory three wire audio output from the CD player and will install an auxiliary jack. From there I could go straight to my phone or use a Bluetooth module. I’ll just have to put a CD in and set the audio to CD for it to work.

This is a vastly underappreciated comment.

Alanis, have you worn out your keyboard yet today?

This is good, but I suppose the ultimate question at this point is does it matter? Is this too little, too late? NASCAR has had a declining ratings and attendance problem for years. The Cup drivers in the lower tiers may have brought sponsorship, but it sure didn’t seem to help elsewhere.

Not for #2

Damn, I missed Fancy Kristen.

As a follow up to my own comment, the commentary of the Stig’s lap in the NSX and CJ Wilson in the Civic was horribly awkward. I also feel like the video editing of Wilson’s lap seemed like it showed the same corner three times.

I am watching it off the DVR right now. I’ve tuned out the British guy during his NSX review. The first segment with the Beetles showed a little bit of promise.

I got one right once I channelled my inner George Costanza and did the opposite.

The savings are NOT worth the risk. For less than $10,000 more, there’s a couple on Auto Trader with mileage from 15k to 25k and no mention of title issues. CP!

In nearby Land O’ Lakes, an actual sinkhole swallowed two houses a couple of weeks ago.

I think allowing DPis may be the only way they get manufacturer involvement next year. However, that would be a tough pill to swallow for the ACO and, in my opinion, would be their last resort. Many look at DPi as a spec series, which is true to a small extent.

This could be a huge blow to top tier international sports car racing. It will be interesting to see where they go from here, as I believe the ACO probably doesn’t find many of their options all that palatable.

Reading this was painful as it reminded me that just today I made finally made one panel a solid color again on my RX-7.

Counterpoint: Taco Bell is perfect drunk food.

You are confusing all quotes in the article as being said by one person. They were not. The two you have quoted were said by different people. Also, Audetto literally said “There is far too much technology and safety.” So the headline is perfectly correct. He said it is too safe.

And then once somebody buys it, what do they do? Do you keep it as a time capsule? Do you put extremely limited miles on it? Hooning it relentlessly would seem to be out of the question at over $100,000, but if that’s what the new owner decides, then more power to them.

3rd: Come on FCA, manufacturers have been making automatic transmissions for a long time. Park means it should be in Park. This is the second recall in just over a year.

No difference between the two. I’m sure they are just promotional pictures for each manufacturer to use as they see fit.

Yeah, I’ve gone back and looked at the renderings of the higher downforce kit. It’s not terrible, but I definitely like the look of the superspeedway setup better.
