That rear wing is so ridiculously simple. The whole design is very clean. I know F1 is the pinnacle of aerodynamic appendages, but there’s a lot to like about an uncomplicated look.

Counter semi-counterpoint: Most people say they will hold onto a car for seven years but never do. I get what you’re saying, but most people aren’t that committed.
I extremely logged on to YouTube earlier
“I will take care of smog check”
I pay $4,000 for this pile of crap and don’t even get a title?! Sad!
Holy crap, this race isn’t over? Guess I’ll watch the finish since there’s nothing else on.
My RX-7 project has been in my garage seven years now. At what point does my wife divorce me? And should I spend this weekend breathing body filler and primer?
I certainly agree with the multitude of responses indicating a need for personal responsibility. An adult should be able to look at basic numbers and realize that payment doesn’t fit within their budget. I get it and I agree 100%.
As a native Floridian, I would like to apologize for the stupidity. Most of us are fine, but our weird ones really make you go “WTF?!”
For comparison purposes, here is a local to me first gen on Craigslist:
This is NP territory all day, every day. It shouldn’t take a lot to get this thing in great working order. The colors aren’t the greatest, but it does boldly proclaim the era in which it came from. Clean first gens are getting harder to find. This is never going to be some unattainable classic price wise, but you…
As long as Neil Cavuto doesn’t show up on air during the race, I guess it will do.
Fox Business?! What the hell Fox?!
Correct. I should have said they can run “an LMP2 car to ACO specs OR a DPi to IMSA specs.”
As of now, it appears to be a three class field. There were rumblings of splitting off the LMP2 cars to a Pro-Am class, but those were quickly dismissed.
The top prototype class in IMSA can run a DPi or an LMP2 car built to ACO specs. Currently, Cadillac, Mazda, and Nissan have DPi programs and Acura will join next year. Three or four teams run LMP2 cars.
My days of disappointment could soon be over! That beautiful, beautiful DPi should be getting the race wins a car that good looking needs.
This is excellent news! I shall place a deposit today. I can’t see anything going wrong here.
I tend to agree with Stef here. Sure, for the price of a modern supercar you can have a legendary race car. However, you now have to tow that F1 car everywhere. There is no ordering parts from a dealer. Many people would not be able to drive a 20 years old racecar to anywhere near it’s potential (the same could be…
Apparently the answer isn’t always Miata.
