Let me preface this by saying that I went without a console for YEARS and finally only caved in June, a month after Uncharted 4 came out on my birthday, because it’s my favorite series and I had to know how it ended. Once I bought the console, I promptly bought almost all the games I had been wanting to play and new

The Lies of Locke Lamora is in my top five favorite novels. I’m eagerly awaiting The Thorn of Emberlain.

If we’re talking about worlds to LIVE in, Final Fantasy IX is pretty choice.

Dishonored (the GoTY includes Knife of Dunwall and The Witches of Brigmore as the story DLC), Dishonored 2, and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider which is bigger than DLC but not quite a full game.

I measure my love for a game almost directly by how immersed I am in the world it’s dropping me into, so I have a few.

Perfect opportunity to recommend Maplecroft by Cherie Priest to any Jezzie readers.

As a die-hard Cowboys fan from birth, someone who is excited to see where the team can go with new players and solid vets, someone who witnessed the last Super Bowl wins and has longed for another...

I’ve got to give it to Jay Cutler. There’s just something about skipping retirement/announcing for one last big paycheck just to go out and be the most apathetic player in football that I kind of respect. He couldn’t give a fuck! It’s incredible. I’m so glad to watch him wallow with the Dolphins and walk off to the

On the bright side, you can skip the sequel for something more to your tastes.

Binge it. Both seasons are relatively short and the while the second feels obviously paced because they knew they were being cancelled, the way everything wraps up puts it on par or just ahead of Firefly for me.

Just means I get a fresh ride the second time around.

I have yet to read (unfortunately, but hopefully soon rectified) any Agatha Christie, nor had I seen the original film. My date and I both went into this blind and both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I’m thrilled for this.

I mean, I guess? But hoping he gets accused of sexual assault just because he makes movies you don’t like is fucked.

This is kind of a fucked up thing to say.

Well, I can’t wait. I’m excited to see the Justice League in live action.

Does anyone else remember when James Cameron decried splitting Deathly Hallows (a 900+ page book) into two films as a shameless cash grab?

I used to hate baseball. Thought it was tremendously boring. My friend got me into it during the World Series, and then I attended my first MLB game is year, in Denver, and I’m kind of hooked now? I watched all 5+ hours of yesterday’s game and loved every second of it.

The likeable characters point is one thing I thought the latest Friday the 13th movie nailed. Outside of the outrageously douchey boyfriend, all of the characters were pretty charismatic.

I love Stay Alive and I’m 90% sure it’s because I think Adam Goldberg is great in everything and because I’m low-key in love with Samaire Armstrong.

It’s a fair criticism. In the Buzzfeed article, the line about the punch is exactly one more sentence. If the Jezebel article is going to “report” on the punch by using it in the headline, the least she could do is add the one additional, relevant sentence to he part she is already quoting.
