I'm inclined to think that there's no difference between Fashion and fashion because those distinctions are made by ridiculous people. Fashion is probably the most accessible luxury we have - next to fast food and gasoline. Just because it does not appear in Vogue does disqualify it from being fashion/Fashion.

So much this. I had to unfollow all the "fashion bloggers" I used to follow on Instagram because it just became one giant mess of photos of macaroons or green juices posed next to insanely expensive yet ugly sunglasses.

I have a few observations of Barbara Winfrey - she was an assistant principal at my high school.

I have a hard time taking fashion journalism or blogging seriously unless it is challenging the very existence of industrialized fashion that takes itself too seriously and hurts more people than it clothes.
