I had female TI’s that terrified me and my primary flight instructor was an incredibly smart woman. Women in the military are awesome and deserve their roles 100%. I HAVE happily gone into war zones with them. Women in the military kick ass.

The same people who will rail against ISIS (and claim to defend the country from those awful religious terrorists) happily threatening rape of a guys wife and the sexual violation of his daughter because he exposed their hatred of women.

While I don’t at all disagree - and 100% agree this man is a hero - I want to also make sure we focus on those women serving our country who put their bodies on the line to defend us all, and yet find those same bodies sexually violated by their peers for cheap thrills. Those women, and all women, deserve better.

Because while the investigation into the image swapping might not lead to more than a few token pieces of discipline, threatening a fellow armed services member for exposing criminal…

I know you’re going to be shocked to hear this, but comments on the first story I read about this issue ran about 2 to 1 blame the victims for allowing their photographs to be distributed.

It’s sad knowing that with this news, the conclusion some people will reach is “This is why women shouldn’t be in the Marines!”.

This is a tough call as I think Justin Timberlake should be muted all the time. Can’t stop that feeling!

Glad he’s using his ill-gotten powers for good (I cannot excuse his involvement in the boy band craze that ruined the airwaves of my youth).

This does feel like a bad acid trip. Especially a bad acid trip that’s happening when you didn’t even know that you had ingested acid. But I do know who dosed you: It was 60 million Trump voters. Don’t get too angry, they thought you would like it.
