Jenisaurus: Ms. Rex, if you're nasty

Sorry if this comes off as a harsh correction, but this is just entirely wrong. I work in the film industry. One Potato, Two Potato is not a “world-famous” production company, nor does it seem to have anything to do with Bryan Singer. It’s barely findable online, unless you mean Gordon Ramsey’s old company that may

Yes. Also, I’m not in showbiz, but I don’t Google search all of my future coworkers before taking a job. I’ll Google the overall quality and reputation of the company, but my general view is that if the company is decent, they won’t be in the habit of employing monsters - this may be naive, but I do think it is true

“The results speak for themselves” Sarah is right but not for the reasons she thinks

The reason Singer keeps being employed can probably be tied to why it’s so hard for female directors, or even new directors, to break in: Directing is like the NFL coaching carousel, the same couple dozen retreads will keep getting work no matter how bad their shit might be.

Exactly what I came here to say. This guy did not have the power to get Bryan fired. Maybe in the future studios will stop hiring him.

I’m still not super angry at Malek taking a job, particularly something as ‘once in a lifetime’ as this, and which has been a really successful role for him - I’m angry at the studios/companies/people that keep picking Singer as a director. While some actors have a lot of choice in their roles, most people on a movie

Maybe she's just hangry? Needs to eat something other than salad I reckon!

If this is about hazarding a guess about this lady possibly being racist, I say her behaviour invites us all to go there.

Don’t have to say something racist for the likelihood of it to be a factor.

If you think I’m some alt-right Trump Republican, I’m not. I’m a liberal Democrat who voted for Bernie. Even though I’ve never voted for a Republican in my life, I absolutely will not put up with your [...]

Those poor babies! Someone put ointment on that diaper rash, stat!

Wow! That’s some serious white fragility on display there. I’m surprised it hasn’t devolved into froth-mouthed yelling of racial slurs.

“Hardesty simply read every officer’s account of Lewis’ racist joke.”

Yeah - I shouldn’t have read this at work. Having someone defend Kesha while acknowledging her pain, is so powerful. This is brutal and Gaga hits it out of the park.

That “what if your father raped someone” question is absolutely fucking disgusting. I know the lawyer was just doing her job etc but JFC.

Why on earth would this girl tell the entire world that this happened? Why on earth? Do you know what it’s like for survivors? Do you know what it’s like to tell people? Don’t you roll your eyes at me. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I wasn’t in the room and that about brought me to tears. I wish we didn’t live in a world where almost every woman I know has a story like this.

One more thing - our daughter, born in China, has always said she’s going to get “Made in China” tattooed on her lower back eventually.  Kind of clever, I think.

The scary thing is there are a number of unsolved gay murders in Toronto from the late 70s. McArthur worked right downtown during that period. As the experts are saying, no serial killer starts in his 60s.

The Toronto Police Chief also blamed the gay community for not cooperating with police enough and that’s why they didn’t solve this case sooner. Such a load of garbage. The only reason there was any attention on this was because the gay community was vocal and persistent in the face of losing their own. So glad this
