Jenisaurus: Ms. Rex, if you're nasty

Isn’t less Hollywood nonsense better for this event? I mean...he’s some dry historian who may do a better job of shading Trump than any comedian could do by talking about historical presidents.

I have no problem with them getting an academic lecture rather than a comedian right now. Frankly, even whatever television audience still remains for “Nerd Prom” may appreciate it as well.

Vitamix soup is my go-to quick dinner during the summer when produce is nice. Pre-roast veggies on the weekend, pull them out of the fridge and chuck them in the Vitamix with some veg stock, serve with bread. Boom! Dinner is done. I bought mine a few years ago at a Costco road show and it was worth every penny.

Yep, exactly what I came here to say - It really does work, I’ve done it. Also, you can make ice cream and frozen yogurt.

I am the official family leftie, having been born and raised in the SF Bay Area. The rest of my family is from a small town in Trump Country and most of them still live in the area where they grew up. So I’m the go-to relative for the kids of my cousins who are (pick one or more) coming out as gay, in an interracial

This seems to come up everytime a celebrity dies. An author/blogger/talking head share a story about their personal life that the famous person had an impact on. Inevevitalby, someone comments about how they have now turned the death to a story about them, and not about the deceased.

Ehh....... You’re a better person than I am haha. I often fantasize about being a master hacker and somehow rigging elections to completely neuter the GOP into oblivion, and then further using my hacking capabilities to somehow link Mitch McConnell to incontrovertible evidence of tax evasion. Like, it’s a thing i think

Even in my blackest moments I haven’t ever genuinely wished that Republican voters were stopped from voting.

This was a stupid post.

And when someone dies the most important thing is to distract from others mourning him by commenting on how they are doing it wrong.

His great-grandfather and name sake, Armand Hammer, owned Arm & Hammer for awhile. Although it had been named long before him.

Juliette- You have always been weird AF but now is your time. I fully get this breakdown. I think I’ve done this breakdown in my own car. It’s early in the morning, I’m just trying to get to work with some coffee, NPR is on spouting about some fresh hell I’ve never conceived of or some old-as-time hell that just.

Im not sure I agree with Armie here. Stan Lee touched A LOT of lives in various ways. Posting a photo of yourself with him can be a way of honoring a moment that meant a lot to you or was special. I think posting a unique picture of yourself with a person you admired is better than reposting a canned image/getty

Look, I don’t care for the Khardashians but what else was she supposed to do? One of my friend’s evacuated to another friend’s house and they went out to dinner. You’ve gotta keep on truckin’ even if that means getting your Botox top-up.

Well, after all, there are only two kinds of people in the world - winners or losers, “killers” or the killed. I would post the video where 45 actually says that himself, but I’m afraid my computer would combust.

That’s a great rock star meeting. Love it!
It also reminds me of my favorite story from a friend who used to live in Aspen. She was walking into a coffee shop one afternoon and bumped right into Ringo Starr.

THIS IS THE BEST ONE!

I was a table away from Mick Jagger at Bemelman’s Bar a few years ago. Growing up in NYC, I was taught to never bother celebrities, but husband was like, “you’ll never get this chance again.” I went over and apologized profusely saying I just wanted to say hi. He autographed a napkin for me and said “If I didn’t want

Saw Dan Savage in a hotel lobby. To my husband: Hey, that was Dan Savage. Husband: Who?

I once helped The Rock finished a crossword puzzle in an airport lounge long ago. That man takes his crossword puzzles very seriously!
