As someone who has 70+ hours in this (which is a lot for me) I just don’t understand. The whole point of this game is that it is tense and crazy, especially late game firefights. If I knew I could just steamroll it, it would take every once of fun from it.

These cheaters may as well just put up a screemshot saying

I love your honesty in this post. It’s so easy to get obsessed with things like this even if you know that it “doesn’t matter” - it feels like it does, dammit!

This attitude is what made me basically quit League of Legends for a long time. Started as a casual player, hit level 30, played ranked with a buddy, got into

Any love for “Dead Leaves”? One of the weirdest films I’ve ever watched

I can see your point, but what about speedrunning?
Any game can be speedrun, making it competitive in a way and people interest in speedruns may buy the game. I don’t know how prevalent speedruns are in the Persona community, but they are now impossible as you can’t show your run to prove your time.

Is there much speedrunning done in the Persona community?
It’s going to be hard to show runs without videos..

I had the same “how hard can this be” thought... but mine was speedrunning the first Dark Souls. I know the map well, I’ve finished it a bunch of times and the quickest run pulls it down to just over 20 minutes - not much time in there to mess it up, right?

The problem is it all revolves around this club. You don’t

This sounds really cool. Was it ever published in English? Cant find anything on google except a very barebones Amazon page which sort suggests not.

Best joke I’ve seen on Kotaku for sure.

That’s right, they held it for a while which is 360 and older don’t use the cross design. It’s run out now or so I’ve been told.

Just getting into Dark Souls speed running which requires a glitch called the weaponswap. You select your weapon in a certain way so as to move part of one weapons move set onto another (so you can strike super quick if you move an estocs onto a great club).

Couple of questions if anyone could help please?

Whenever a game lets me do this, I just hand the controller to my girlfriend. Then four hours later, once she’s been through every slider, I get to play the game as a beautifully made character that I will then layer with armour including a helmet and never see their face again.

Mr Dazed and Confused, I have a story for you. Some huge differences but some key similarities.

Someone at work has been lending me "The Gap Cycle" by Stephen Donaldson. Really great books that I'd recommend to Mass Effect fans (although be prepared for some terrible people and horrible events).

Thanks for the spotlight here!

Wow thanks for including my review here!

So great to see manga reviews on Kotaku now, hope these keep coming.
I've started something on TAY I call the out of date manga review and it's pretty great that something similar is happening here.
