This could of been the budget line to get people into buying more xboxes (like the 2DS XL).

Well, that’s a hard pass. Needed to be at least down to 200 before I even consider it. 250 is an insane price for a diskless system.
I watched a YouTube video where the guy made a few arguments that EA forcing all developers to switch to the FrostBite engine (where BioWare had been using the Unreal engine) might be to blame.
I’d say there is zero chance they increase the resolution of the system. That would be a really big, fundamental change that Nintendo has never, ever done. It would require an entirely new processor/GPU and hardware. The people hypothesizing 4k are nuts. You basically need to get into higher end laptops before you see…
Honestly, I believe that empty feeling is because they designed a space to be a casino and were told 18 months before opening “No gambling. Build out our twice-nightly show, gift shop and buffet as much as you can, but if the budget or opening day change at all this project is no longer viable so don’t add anything we…
I’d take the opposite.
Every single recommended story is “Stop preordering video games.” Every. Single. One.
That’s hilarious.
Honestly, FemHawke answering everything in sarcasm is my life goals. There’s so many golden gems of dialogue in there I’m tempted to give examples of but it’s far too entertaining to ruin.
I would rate it above Inquisition but below Origins, going solely by plot, gameplay and characterization. The small number of maps are reused to a point beyond absurdity, and production quality suffered from the insane rush EA forced on Bioware, but the dumbed-down RPG mechanics are still well above Inquisition’s…
I never got around to Dragon Age 2 and now I can play it for free. Good times
And of course batteryless. I hate paying for things I won’t use.
I’d like to see a console-only release. The screen is a huge waste of money if it will always be docked.
I don’t see the issue between the customer and the employee, I’m more concerened about who’ll get the money from the next Episodes.
You want to finish the game? Great. But use the money you got to pay the severance, not your shareholders.
For me in both cases it was less about the two-three day early access and more I already knew I wanted the season pass content for both games. (I really enjoyed the DLC offerings for both titles in the past!)
Hey man, good on you for sharing an unpopular opinion while at the same time showing tact and reasonableness. Even though you have people coming at you, you stayed respectful. You did your part to make the internet a nicer place today. Thank you
If you haven't gotten around to it, check out the jumping flash 3 iso. Never made it here but obviously it's technically way ahead of the others.
yup, for me even with 3440x1440 but what is most exciting to me is the ray tracing tech that makes lighting, reflections, and shadows physically just work.
VR games are also intense on good graphics cards even on the lower end of settings because of the need to render the view twice: once per eye.
Yup. Rendering modern games at 4k on highest settings at 60 fps is tough for any consumer GPU. The ray-tracing stuff might be nice, too, but I suspect that a lot of developers won’t use it until the next console generation.
I was super confused at first too. I started on a cold planet and died within the first few minutes from a combination of exposure and sentinels. (They should really warn you not to mine in front of those bastards.) The upgrades and classes and stuff were also daunting at the beginning. Even the UI took a lot of…
