I feel like you'd get like smoked venison. It wouldn't be the worst though I guess
1) I agree on Deus Ex. That’s one that I forgot about. However, you likely won’t see the next game during this console generation. The franchise was shelved following Mankind Divided due to the mixed reception. The developer, Eidos Montreal, was tasked with two different projects. On one hand they were to be the…
I really, really hope Anthem is the tipping point for live-service games going away (or at least not being as grindy, predatory, or incomplete experiences).
Before the price was announced, I totally expected a $150 price point similar to what you mentioned here. I was even suggesting to friends that they try and release a controller-free one for $100, and angle it as “Get your kid their own cheap Xbox”.
At this price point, all this does is make the “base” One S look more appealing, cause for an extra $50 you get that drive which (ignoring used games, cause who really goes that way anymore when Xbox has embraced weekly sales like Steam and everyone else?) plays 4K blu-rays, and remains good value by being the best…
Y’know, $200 with Master Chief Collection (or some other meaty, older game they could pack in for free without worrying too much) and six months of Game Pass could have been a really good deal.
This feels right.
This could of been the budget line to get people into buying more xboxes (like the 2DS XL).
Well, that’s a hard pass. Needed to be at least down to 200 before I even consider it. 250 is an insane price for a diskless system.
I watched a YouTube video where the guy made a few arguments that EA forcing all developers to switch to the FrostBite engine (where BioWare had been using the Unreal engine) might be to blame.
I’d say there is zero chance they increase the resolution of the system. That would be a really big, fundamental change that Nintendo has never, ever done. It would require an entirely new processor/GPU and hardware. The people hypothesizing 4k are nuts. You basically need to get into higher end laptops before you see…
Ya, the final transmutation circle that is literally an ENTIRE country is pretty damn insane. Also its got some many crowning moments of awesome I can’t pick just one. Actually I lie, I totally can!
It is still a toss-up between TP and BoTW for me. BoTW is absolutely stunning and gorgeous but I feel that the story fell flat, and while the idea of having 100+ “dungeons” is an interesting one, I never warmed up to the idea. But, the game was a necessary step into the true open-world genre.
Honestly, I believe that empty feeling is because they designed a space to be a casino and were told 18 months before opening “No gambling. Build out our twice-nightly show, gift shop and buffet as much as you can, but if the budget or opening day change at all this project is no longer viable so don’t add anything we…
I like these ideas way better than what we got. The fort is so boring Everytime I'm there, and the missions are pretty lame too. I'll give them some time, but mass effect Andromeda was 10 times more fun. This game needed some kind of pvp too. Not a lot to keep me coming back. Once I finish the super bland story I…
It sounds like you’d rather the game not be a looter shooter.
I think it’s a secret Dragon Age game. The Heart of Rage is The Breach.
Breath of the Wild really spoiled us didn’t it?
I can just shake the image in my head of Liara living in a hut in the woods, caring of an elderly Krogan (grunt was after all pretty young) just bickering like old siblings.
It just works so much better than what we got instead
Literally, all of these ideas are better than what they gave us. lol
