So two Joy-Cons, a Switch dock, and a new charging handle thing cost $200 altogether. Unless we’re to say that the Switch tablet itself is only worth $100, I think we’re looking at some overpricing for these accessories.

This cancellation doesn’t bother me. Scalebound never looked particularly interesting to me. It always felt like an exclusive that was in the Xbox One line-up just for the sake of being an exclusive.

I received Bioshock: The Collection (Xbox One version) as a Christmas gift. I’ll probably be finishing Bioshock Infinite this weekend, and maybe I’ll get into the original Bioshock too.

The Mass Effect trilogy is my favorite gaming trilogy. I really can’t think of a better one. You have a rich atmosphere, mysterious story, and intricate customization in the first game; great characters and an epic final mission in the second game; and stellar multiplayer in the third game.

I have the Xbox One version, and it’s stunning even on that platform. But it must look pretty phenomenal on PC. I think my favorite thing about it is the lighting. It’s pretty stunning in certain spots.

What I’m really hoping for here is a remaster. It doesn’t have to be a complete overhaul like Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, but something on the same level as The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (1080p resolution and improved textures) would be nice.

For me, one advantage of physical games going digital with the disc only being used for license verification is that I don’t have to worry about my damaged copy of Mass Effect 3 working for the Xbox One backward compatibility thing. I inserted my disc to let the system know that I own the game and it started

I’m not sure I understand the question. Do you think the pricing I’ve laid out for the Wii U is too high or too low?

I think $150 should be the base price of a Wii U, and $200 would probably work if it had three Nintendo Selects games included.

From what I’ve read, it seems likely that Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 will be coming to the Switch. Those are the only ports from the Wii U that I really care about.

I forgot to list Hyrule Warriors as a Wii U Zelda game.

Now playing

Mario Kart 8 was fun for me in short bursts, but I think the lack of voice chat during matches really hurt it. Mario Kart games should be all about that couch gaming feel whether you’re playing them with other people huddled around a TV or playing them online. Voice chat could have done a lot to bring a couch gaming

I was fortunate in that I was able to get a brand new 8 GB Wii U for $250 back when GameStop was presumably trying to clear out their stock of Skylanders Wii U bundles in 2014.

I’ve been an Xbox One guy this generation too. I don’t have a PS4 or a PS4 Pro, but that doesn’t really bother me. My Xbox One has been giving me plenty of nice gaming experiences. I’ve played Halo 5, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, INSIDE, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Gears of War: Ultimate

Nintendo has already killed the Wii U, so I don’t blame any developer for cancelling their Wii U plans. Gone are the days when I might have called out a developer like Slightly Mad for cancelling the Wii U version of a game.

The 3DS is in its twilight. It had a good run, but I welcome the Switch with open arms. I was playing my 3DS like crazy back in 2012 and 2013, but my playtime with it tapered off after that. These days, I rarely touch it.

I have a gaming PC and an Xbox One. As much as I like gaming on my PC, there’s something that just feels right about gaming on my Xbox One. Maybe it’s because I only started getting into PC gaming in earnest last year — I don’t know. But the interface, the achievements, the game discs... The Xbox One feels like home.

I haven’t started playing my copy of Final Fantasy XV yet, but I want to start playing it soon. The way I look at it is that I want to play chapter 13 the way the developers originally intended it to be. Maybe the revamp will be better. If it is, then I can experience that on my second playthrough. But I’d like my

I get the impression from what we’ve seen so far that the Wii U can barely handle the game. Looks like the Switch version is going to be the way to play it.
