The block isn’t the same at all. The 2.0L EcoBoost GTDI engine is a closed deck block where as the 2.3L was an open deck block design.

I did. Recaros, Sunroof, Black Wheels, everything. Five miles on it. $19.3 out the door IIRC.

Take the Porsche every time. Having owned two Dodges in my life with both having major mechanical issues within 50k miles I will never touch another Dodge product ever.

This is the part of this that doesn’t work. I can understand taking a 30k car, and marking it up to 50, because you’re not necessarily changing the playing field that heavily.

One of the most common misconceptions about magnesium rims is that they can catch fire as a result of prolonged scraping on road surfaces. But if true, they would not be approved by the FIA for use in Formula 1 races, because of safety concerns. Although pure magnesium is highly flammable, it is very difficult to

7. Hoard it forever because you are emotionally attached to it.

To be fair Rare really pushed the envelope of what was considered possible on Nintendo’s aging Super Nintendo hardware.

One of the comments Senna made to Ron Dennis about the 93 season was “Ron, the car is not that good” Dennis “But you won 5 races” Senna’s comment back was I won the 5 races. Michael Andretti struggled heavily with this car and placed a season high third in one race.

I don’t think Ferrari knows that nobody takes these threats seriously anymore.

I learned this when I traded my impreza in on a VW. AWD didn’t actually do much more than eat gas... And I live in one of the 10 worst winter having states.

AWD is cool, it’s fun but with all the electronic controls possible today it’s pretty much overkill.

Preface- I own a Mk7 GTI, and bought it after driving the Cooper S, Fo/FiST, WRX/STI, and RWD coupes. I’ve also driven the Golf R extensively, every gen Civic Si up to the current car, and the new Focus RS. Have not driven the new Type R.

A trick knuckle with limited slip is what got Matt Lauer fired though, so you have to be careful these days.

I did the Korean Air /747 leg from Toronto-Seoul numerous times from ‘04-’07....at least 8 times a year. No better Crew, Equipment and overall travel experience. Sitting up stairs made it seem like a very small flight.

While carrying 600 passengers was impressive in its day, advances in airline understanding of comfort allows them to fit that many economy seats into a Cessna these days. What amazing times we live in!

Used to fly Pan Am Flight 60 and 61 between Dulles and Frankfurt so often that they would bump me to business; Pan Am flew the first 747s and kept them a long time, business class was on both levels and on those early ones there were only 10 or 12 business seats upstairs. The seats were like barcaloungers, there was

A lot has to do with the fact they’re f1 drivers. Bottas looks like Gru. Verstappen looks like someone went crazy on a character creation screen.

Those pictures remind me of being in middle-school sex ed, and they show you weird pictures of anatomy that are excessively detailed, and you’re kind of aroused, but also confused and a bit frightened.
