There was only one other car that could compete with it on the test track, the road version of the Toyota GT One. Back when I could set the cars, I had that at over 250+, a GT40 at 230+, and was the only person I know to get the GT90 to actually handle.

A. That’s my favorite driver growing up. and B. You know if you had the Bug version of the game (You’d lose your garage after setting so many lap times at the Test Track) If in simulation the Taurus was this then you had the bug mode, if it have Ford signs all over it, it was the fixed version, but in the arcade disc

Oh you mean the one that would Decimate everything.....until you got to the corner and had to ride the wall all the way around till the next straight? Yeah yea I do

Where have I seen that trick before.......

You sir, need more stars. Even my friends that weren’t big car guys would always pick that thing just to see the numbers just about explode in the speedometer.......Now I’m hankering for a race around Grindelwald in a GT40, or Red Rock Valley.....BTW the two best fake tracks of all time in the GT series.

and, AND, cheat codes to get a school bus and police car, and trying to outrun that damn train in the death valley stage

Gran Turismo 2. Not 1, not the others, 2 was by far the best. And Gulf GT40 introduction into my gaming world, and probably yours too. Oh what’s that, you don’t care about the 500+ cars in the game, you care about the music, well we got you covered, Rob Zombie, The Cardigans, Foo Fighters, Beck, Stone Temple Pilots,

Suprisingly not many since post graphics, but here’s one:

Possibly, if the MINI looked like this:

I can work on VW’s, but they prefer certified techs to do their work, and it takes a special kind of sanity to do it day in and day out, so if you bring your car in, I highly suggest the tech Steve over there to do the work, he’s one of the best, and has a good head on his shoulders.

Yup, it’s been a long up and down road, but I switched from dealing with the public directly to doing something I enjoy, which is working on the cars themselves. I’m almost always in the shop, can’t miss my blue box with the Porsche graphics on it.

Coming around that corner like that, first thing that crossed my mind

Have no problem tipping the church a percentage of their paycheck, but when it comes to real service, different story.

Alright, a couple of you are asking me about the GP thing. Here’s the deal, and really why I stuck around as long as I did there. As you know the economy took a dump. I was previously working at a yatch manufacturing plant until I went unemployed. My wife is Taiwanese, and we were in the process of filing to have her

That’s a story in itself that involves government papers, my wife, and three salesmen.

Holy crap! So do I! Ever see a black MINI S with red Carrera Cooper S decals on it and black rims, give me a wave :D

If you’re looking for a story involving the salesman, I guess I’ll chime in with a few. So sit back and grab a beverage, it’s long story time.

I believe that was a problem with the Nazi’s during WWII. They would over engineer things, making them state of the art, yet a pain to maintain, especially on the battle field. Innovation certainly has it’s place in the Military, however, instead of developing that new “tech” and throwing it in as development is going

Ah man, I’m not a fan of steelies, but....they just look awesome on that machine.
