A few more details would really help make sense of the numbers. The grants include purchase of new buses (~US$250k-$350k per) and installation of level 2 charging at the bus depot.

These ICE cars just aren’t practical, what with their needing a gas station every 4-500 miles. We just can’t AFFORD the infrastructure needed to install gas stations all the way from pole to pole! Our oil infrastructure would crumble under that demand!
