I've always kept a grocery store dressing bottle in the kitchen. They sell them cheap with powdered dressing mix. It's glass, and has V, W and O markings for Vinegar, Water and Oil.

Boiling water does not "clear out any impurities". It prevents air bubbles from forming in the freezing water, giving you clear ice.

If you already have cable TV, maybe cable internet is OK. But where I live top-tier DSL is $19/month. I think cable TV + internet is about $80 minimum.
