I think I'm missing the comparison in these two charts...they don't seem super related to me? I guess they were pretty good in 2001 and they are still semi-good in 2012?

They aren't waterproof but they are water resistant at least:

Exactly. Anyone that's ever had a nicely turbo'd car knows this is basically impossible.
Basically, pretend your car isn't turbo'd.
I hear this has AWD. Word is still out on the price though...
I guess after looking at the price differential between the EcoDiesel and the EcoBoost this is looking pretty good. 26 mpg wasn't quite as good as I was hoping, but still probably the best deal in the truck market. Especially considering the price of gas currently. I'm curious to see how well the real world numbers…
Only issue I see is that diesels are known to get much closer or surpass their EPA estimate while turbo'd gas engines never seem to get as close in real driving conditions.
This is awesome. Bear is an incredible dude. Incredibly jealous.
This took an oddly nice turn.
Did you see the water scene? Those things could seriously move if they needed to.
This is the best way to start my morning. Laughed way to hard about this.
I love my base-model-manual CX-5. 35 mpg in an SUV? I'll take it.
That sounds awesome!
Yes! I saw it there this last weekend. Easily the coolest cinematic experience I have ever had.
I would be lying if I said I didn't get the James May tingly feeling upon the thought of a "raptoresque" Colorado.
Isn't Ali the freaking man?
Yes I second this. I'm considering buying some of this because I have a gift card there. Would like to know how good it is.
SNIPER! GET DOWN!
I guess you just don't get it then. When you are doing 30+ down a technical descent with jumps and off-camber turns and your $200 dollar bike falls apart, or the brakes don't quite stop you before you rail into a tree, then you might understand.
