That’s a very good point nobody brings up. The ‘rational’ explanation is that a bug is a bug. Inhaling spores and bacteria foreign to your body will set off whatever defenses you have.  The ability to fight them varies even among humans with Earth bugs.

But Cap doesn’t have it all. There’s a whole country with it now. And apparently, Stark was a fool, since he made a Frisbee out of it, while Wakanda somehow got smart and made all kinds of funky, unimaginable science out of it.  (which they really never explained)

For all the complaints about SUV sales cutting out everything else, it is, for the moment, a self-fulfilling prophecy. I’m just as guilty as anyone else, but the reason (by my standards) is simply the economy.

I bought one of the very first Rabbits that hit the U.S.  It was “brand new” with 1500 miles on it.  I think everyone and their kid brother test drove that car.  Good a fair price on it, though.

Mine did. When my Grandma quit driving, Check put her ‘36 Chevy coupe in the barn on blocks. For 30 years, he maintained and started it regularly. It was beautiful, and I remember sitting in it as a kid and turning that huge wheel with the built-in suicide knob.

Protesting is fine, dude.  These guys started this because ‘protesting’ now includes equipment destruction and sabotage, threatening, or even attacking workers, and in several cases, like drilling holes in pipes, causing more ecological damage than the pipe itself.

Just that the extension cord for the power required would be a bit hard to run.  Solar cells for that much would shadow the Earth.

The Mohave has an impact range that you can use any non-nuclear weapon built on.  We even rent it out to other countries.  You could build the gun in Ohio or something.

Oddly, I fairly agree.  A few people here have them, and claim bulletproof reliability.  Not exiting to drive, I venture, but very stable.

Is that a Space Shuttle panel Photoshopped in there? Talk about distracted driving.

Here, too.

Nope.  The Charger is the ugly girl you ignore while trying to hit on the cute sister.

Will the flying cars be electric, also?  That could eat some research funds.

Dude*, that’s not a wagon. A wagon will let you put a box in the back, and close the gate without tearing out the glass. That back end is a LaCrosse with the hinge in a slightly different place.

I never saw the advantage. Not only are diesel cars more expensive, my neighbor spent a fortune on maintenance/repairs, and diesel is 30 cents more than unleaded here.

1981... I had a chance at a 2002 Bavaria for $4,000.  It ran, and had all the trim bits, but needed some TLC.  I couldn’t afford a second car at the time.  Still hurts.

It was some years back, before everything was quite so obvious.

And just why did Mercedes and BMW build plants here, then?  The kindness of their hearts?  Goodwill?  No, because parts are cheaper to import than cars.

There is some truth there. My Wife’s company quit dealing with China. They do molding and fine parts work. As soon as China gets hold of molds, prototypes or even drawings... well, patents and copyrights mean nothing to them, and nobody even attempts to enforce it.  Next thing, they’re making the same stuff at half

So they make it look less and less like a Camaro should look, and wonder why the ‘nostalgia factor’ wore off.  Wow.
