So, basically this article says what many do... people suck.

At least you were in the building. We found out when our card keys quit working one morning.
That’s kind of how I think about it. The idea of a Union for worker protection is a good thing. But when leadership is more concerned with filling their bank account with member’s dues rather than actual leading, it gets fuzzy.
Our neighbors had a Freestyle. The plainness really appealed to me. We went out with them a few times in it. I seriously considered one. But I couldn’t buy one new by then.
That is an excellent question. American cars usually run bigger. Over here, a Chevy gives you a fair amount of space for the money. But elsewhere, people want small. I don’t blame you guys at ALL. WE want smaller. The Polo? Cactus? Nice, less expensive, easy to maintain cars, all of which, for some reasons, we can’t…
My problem was the opposite. It’s practically impossible to get a car as plain, bare-bones as possible.
Only if you can wire it to the red button inside the gearshift.
That’s a religion I could never believe in.
Interesting that they make these commercials of them swooshing through the Alps or crossing the Sahara, when most likely, they’ll never get dirty while driving to the mall.
I wanted to get something for my Wife from a women’s clothing store. I had to go across the street, call the store, and tell them what I wanted. She then called her brother, who came downtown, got the stuff from the store and brought it out to me, where I paid him. He then took the money back to the store.
We are worse. We even let women vote now.
“at least BMW & Mercedes have specialty shops which won’t bend you backwards”
The problem is that many entire fields are dropping their pay scales. From nurses to programmers, everyone is trying so hard to keep the shareholders happy at the cost of happier employees. The middle class is fading away no matter which side of the political fence you sit on.
“Let he who has no Tesla take his sack, and his script, and his credit rating, and sell his Cadillac and buy one.” Luke 22:33. (near)
Porsche 911, the ONLY real Porsche. Been in love with them since I was, like, 8.
I can’t talk, really. As a kid, our trips were in Pop’s Electra 225. Not only was the back seat long enough for me to use as a bed, the trunk held half of what we owned.
Yes, but didn’t the Alfa’s problems scare off a bunch of folks?
4th... So, a few fancy, very expensive, high-powered vehicles with nothing for us common folk. And they wonder why they have problems.
Just like Duke Power... everyone replaced light bulbs with LEDs, and our power bill went down with the first bunch by $30 a month. I’ve swapped out everything in the house, and it’s great! Then Duke says the program lost them so much money they have to raise rates. ??? There’s no winning for us commoners.
Myself, I figure I may look at the Frontier AFTER the Ranger comes out. They will make it a 4-door SUV with a short bed, most likely a rebadged tweaked Escape Sport, and it will be priced hideously high. I don’t hold out much hope for Ford making something useful in the SUV craze.
