My Wife felt that way about the new Dart. Thank goodness I listened to her. Not like I had a choice.

Yes, you are correct. They re-engineered a popular car until nobody wanted it. But Psion had to have cost Toyota some big bucks during the whole U.S. release and pullout. I dare say it would be difficult to get another one past the board.

How fast does the Charade go?

But how can someone talk Toyota into that after the Psion mess?

Don’t forget the Ikea or Sam’s Club runs.

Yes. I have a pin in my shoulder. Never thought it was an issue. Now I just drop my stuff after the first walk-though and raise my arms... “Wand me!”.

Don’t get upset just yet. While all the concepts look the same, remember that by the time marketing, finance, and ‘that manager’ who wants changes, any product we actually see on a lot will look absolutely nothing like these. The Mercedes will probably end up more like a GL than that.

Is this a shining example of “lipstick on a pig”? Because no matter what you do to them, they are still ugly.

The comparison between the two is one thing; time. Three beers over the course of several hours is not much of a risk. But Bogart one and drive 10 minutes later? Slight difference.

My Wife was stuck in traffic one day, and the occupants of the BMW next to her were snorting coke. *

Annnnnd, how did you know it was vodka?

I think that ANY thing you take, smoke, or drink that changes your mind from it’s normal operating state rates a DUI if you drive.

You learn something every day. I’ll trade you.

On that premise, they should give up on rotary. Rotary was a great idea in the ‘70s (I was there), when regular engines had carbs and sloppy power curves. But now everybody makes a fair engine, and Mazda has topped a lot of them in that department. Add in the fact that rotary maintenance and life span is questionable,

Truth. I’m as pro-defense as any conservative, but it’s been absolutely ridiculous for some time now. A trillion or so for a plane that only sort-of works? And the workhorse of our 15-year war is a 40-year old Warthog? And as a (once) field Marine, I would say that little of those trillions trickle down to the Grunts.

Yeah, but in my town everybody knew everybody. Do anything, and I mean ANYTHING, and 10 minutes later your parents got a phone call.

My Wife sat in one for 10 minutes, and shook her head. I wasn’t thrilled, either. Did I have to be thrilled? No, no I didn’t. But look, I drive an HHR and love it. I have to have some small feeling, or no deal.

You make a very valid point, but it isn’t always being lazy. During the dot-com crash, I did multiple part-time jobs at the same time. But still almost almost lost my house, and did lose a car.

They have all these articles on here that China is the World auto market right now. We’ve sent so much manufacturing to China their entire economic ecosystem is changed. People who once could barely afford a bicycle are now buying cars. American Companies, as well as a few other countries, despite the stories on

I think one of the things about Labor in the auto industry is they just can’t win, in America, at least.
