There are examples... look at the Early Neon, or the Psion b... both had initial good acceptance. Then they decided to improve the hell out of them, then nobody wanted them anymore.

I think that’s to make up for their long holidays. When I was over there, they would shut down plants for weeks at a time.

I feel that way too. You can badmouth my HHR, but I love to sit in it. Lots of room, and somehow pleasing to me.

Could not some rich guy in Australia buy the stuff and turn Holden into an Australian car company? Would GM sell them the line equipment intact? I don’t see them doing much else with it. Or is the Country just that small of a market?

Opposite here. The insides aren’t so bad, but the outside looks like somebody made a really bad attempt to copy a Fit.

Having raised a child to the age of 18 without them becoming a drug dealer or axe murderer, I feel I’m as qualified as anyone else to comment on parenting issues.

As long as it’s got an .mp3 player, I’m happy.

I won’t say anything if you don’t. But doesn’t EVERY American have a flag in their house? I do have the Birdie, Ball, and Fishhook.

They just pick the wrong time. Hold a press conference. Be on a talk show. But a football game is entertainment same as a movie. They can do what they want, and so will I, ‘cause that’s America If they want to turn entertainment into a political game, then I simply take my money elsewhere, ‘cause, that’s America, also.

Don’t mix threads, or at least try to keep track. The OP complained about people who sit at home, in their chair, who don’t stand for the anthem, complaining about, well, people complaining about those who don’t.

Excellent point. I guess ‘indoors’ has it’s own local interpretations.

*sigh* I have to explain 1 at a time to the Planet? The Corps has an ENTIRE class on Customs and Protocol. You don’t have to stand and salute indoors. Civilians are wwwaaaaayyyyy more lax. Those people who think they’re making a point by saying anyone doesn’t stand in their living room is wrong... is wrong. No rule,

I guess you just don’t get it. Look, if Military isn’t required (and there’s a LOT of protocol and Customs in the Military) to stand up indoors, just what ‘rules’ say Civilians are?

Why do people keep bringing that crap up? In Military regs, you only have to stand at attention in the PRESENCE of the flag/music.

True. My yard looks better, I’ve read an extra book, and gotten a new PS4 game (not football). Those hours have been put to better use.

I agree. I’m not angry that they kneel. Just the same as they’re not angry I’m doing something else those hours. We are free to change the channel, and that is the limit of my own protest. Since they do not care that I don’t buy any ‘official NFL’ products, we’re even.

And most HR departments have policies about upholding the image of the company. They have a lot of leeway there. What I have seen is, if they want to fire you, they will find a way.

Well written. There is the one part that sets me off, though...

Humph. In cigars, I only take A&C Sabre Tip NCIW.

Which are Standalone? Because the last thing on Earth I want to do is have to create an account, on an internet site, that holds all my passwords. Earlier programs like this leaked as bad as Equifax.
