Truth. To this day, I still check that the red P is showing if I ever want to get out of the car while it’s running.

There is truth in what you say. Once, you had to pay to have a German car ‘converted’ in order to import it. Now, almost every German car is made to tougher specs than American cars, and can be directly imported. I learned this from a guy who bought a nice Cabriolet, really fancy one, while I was over there. Once

This is just simple proof that they should not make cars with that kind of power street-legal.

I hope Citroen goes dealer. Out here, where everyplace is 20 miles from something else, ride sharing has not caught on. I’d like one of those Cactuses... Cacti? You know, those neat ones.

It would be nice if you based your rantings on more logical things.

I realize there are benefits, just that it’s not a ‘for everyone’ thing. In the car world, $2,000 buys me years worth of gas. And, my oil change is $19 every 8-9,000 miles. And my Chevy gets 34 mixed mileage, and lots is in town.

Don’t see how... around here, diesel engine cars cost more, they’re more expensive to repair, and diesel is 30 cents a gallon more than unleaded.

It is a sliding scale thing, and not just the ‘union is boogyman’ rhetoric. Companies are switching to contractors, since the cost of an employee is not merely their salary. Medical expenses have skyrocketed, and medical coverage matches. Contractors don’t get medical, dental, vacation, sick days... it’s a win-win

I would think those pilots had to be exceptional. You see some planes move around to get to the fueling jack. But one wrong twitch and those blades could saw the hose up quick. And it doesn’t look like there’s a lot of extra room, considering the buffeting.

Beautiful town. If I move there, would GM Victory Red be safe?

Hmmm. Having read your articles, I’m a bit torn about my thoughts.

Yeah... I live in a neighborhood full of fancy SUVs and trucks, and I have an HHR.

I thought part of the software fix was to just permanently put it in ‘test mode’, which would hurt performance.

Yes. I like a nice gap. I’ll buy a new car someday, but I’ve been without a payment for 3 years now, and she’s still running fine. Just remember to do those things you don’t do on a car you don’t keep long, like radiator flush and transmission fluid.

I think you have to take it to CarMax first. Some special cars, they’ll tell you to take it to the dealer, but they usually want to see it first.

It’s not a question of being too cheap, I like to have protection on my cars. It’s just they should be more reasonable, or yet, even truthful about it.

No rust? No camo paint job? Not even olive drab? No gas can/water racks? Meh, too civilian.

2nd... There has been a few tempting deals at the Hertz fleet sales, which one is near me. But everyone I know with a lease or a rental treats it like crap. I just worry about getting a grenade waiting to cook off.

Actually, I’d like a new Aztek right now.

Less terrible is still not good. My Wife sat in one for a few minutes, and never went near one again.
