But isn’t the Encore a rebadged Opel? What happens to it?
I’ve never been an ‘edger’, and don’t intend to start now. Seems the first year of any new model is always the first to get recalled.
There is definitely a hostage situation there, but some of it is partially explained. For the very reasons you mentioned, like a closed environment, Airport HQ charges an unGodly high rent to any store operating in there. Starbucks actually isn’t really making all that in profit when you get a $9 latte at…
Of the ideas posted here, I like the gas tax the best. But we won’t react to it like other countries, because we’re a nation of horsepower fixated idiots.
So, we don’t make more money, but car prices go up $800 (at least) a year. Now there are more people having to get 5, 6, or SEVEN(?) year loans just to get a car, and we’re not talking your average Mercedes buyer.
While a valid statement, there are a few notes... People with electric cars have to alter their thinking a bit. That; “I can get to work, but have to stop on my way home.” thing will have to go out the window. That is, unless you like Sheetz chili dogs (which I do). There should be no problem with regular worker…
Neutral... Because car companies don’t build the infrastructure we always used anyway. Ford doesn’t build gas stations. And I never heard of a Honda Fill-er-Up either.
Truth. The real crime is ‘pissing off a major party member’ in most cases.
True. ‘Real’ communism has never existed, nor will it ever. The ones who end up in power always look first to enrich themselves.
Cheap slave labor is good for business, yes?
Or worry about silly little things like patents or copyrights while they integrate the others’ ideas.
I’m not arguing with you. Our squadron ended up with hanger queens every late summer.
You are a bit slow today.
And Military departments seem to behave much like their civilian counterparts. If you don’t use your budget, odds are you will get less next year, since being good with a budget gets you punished like that. So everybody not only makes sure they use every dime they get allocated, they beg that it isn’t enough.
Partly true. The first thing I thought of when I saw the headline was; “But it’s only February!”.
Hey! A Mustang was my very first car. And not just any Mustang... it was a ‘66 with a 289.*
I love the idea, but 50 miles wouldn’t get me to work and back home one day. It would have to do that, at least. And maybe a stop at PetSmart. And the McDonald’s drive-thru.
I feel they just lost the vision. VW built their empire on making an affordable car anybody on Earth could buy. It was simple to maintain, and versatile enough for almost anyone.
