The key difference is that Mahindra actually has a license to produce the CJ and has been doing it for the past 50 years. If you think about it, they have just as much "right" to produce this vehicle as FCA, or is it FCP now with the Peugeot merger? Who bought into the Jeep name from Cerberus, Daimler, Chrysler, AMC,

I saw that the South Padre Island PD had one for beach patrol. Looked pretty kickass.

I’m an avid Jeeper, and I love the Jeep Brand. But this was a bad call. Mahindra has been producing the CJ for years after buying the licensing from Willys. I hope that this is appealed and the injunction is stopped. We need more variety. It's not likely that anyone who is shopping for a new FCA Jeep would buy a Roxor

I remember watching Song of the South, and Davy Crockett when I was a kid in the late 80s early 90s era on the Disney Channel. And I still have my Disney storybook with the "tar baby" story in it.

I like the way you deliver. There is a definite tone to the article, that implies that you do not like the Tesla brand, but were impressed by the car and team that showed up. I agree with this sentiment.

I forget exactly how the regulations are stated but in essence they state that there must be one brake per wheel. Also imagine how bad it could be if you broke an axle shaft.

That works, but makes it illegal to drive on the road.

Looking forward to it.

That wouldn't really work out how I want it to. I want a solid axle and the inboard brakes for the HMMWV are for the AMC 20 independent suspension setup.

Good sir I think you doth protest too much. You have a source from outside of the company that fits your narrative. But there’s a very good chance that there is more to this than your article lead on. Instead of admitting that you may have been overzealous, or even remaining silent while trying to find the actual

I've always wanted to build an axle for a Jeep using HMMWV portals. Just use Ford 9" housings so that you can easily swap the direction of the rotation and keep oiling working. Brakes would be a tricky situation though.

Your mistaken. Low profile tires do not have any real performance enhancement that can be measured beyond 18 inches. An 18 compared to a 15 gives you a slight edge on lateral stability. But that's only slight and doesn't continue beyond that. There is a reason why F1 cars are not running low profile.

Great article. I'll be honest, I'm a little bit biased. I own a 2018 Wrangler. It's actually my 4th Wrangler and 5th Jeep. It is the best Jeep I've ever owned, and also the only one that I have ever disliked. It's not my Rubicon's fault though. My first Jeep was a 99' Sahara TJ, followed by a 03' TJ, a 06' Grand

You are so on the money with this. We lost our TDi Passat after a crazy lady T boned my wife. I miss that car.

Larger wheels add unsprung weight. Unsprung weight kills performance. It really is for anesthetics.

Some folks on the forums are convinced that the Bronco will be built on a new platform inspired by the Ranger, and that the Ranger will adopt it when it gets refreshed in a couple of years.

I’m going to make a very unpopular statement of my opinion. Unions killed the Ford cars. The Fusion sold fairly well. They are only killing it because they don't earn enough per car for them to sustain their current business model into the future. The number one reason that it isn't profitable is labor costs. The

This should have been done in Rifts. It would have fit so much better. There are already technowizards that jump between dimensions.

Burn it with fire! A guy in my unit used to have one of these. I would point and laugh at him whenever I saw him in it.
