That’s more than a real possibility

1 ton swap kits are pretty non existent for new IFS vehicles.

So really this test accomplished nothing because of the difference in the sizes.

The engineer that was hired to investigate this case sounds like a pompous jackass.

You would love my Wrangler. I removed the factory 18's and 32" tires in favor of some fairly lightweight 15's and, lighter than the competition, Falken AT 35" tires. At the same time I removed the factory bumpers, and side steps. Somehow I still manage to get 19mpg with mixed driving, and I can chirp the tires on the

Why on earth would two men who haven’t really driven either of the vehicles that they are arguing about, argue about them as “experts” for an auto-enthusiast blog. Now go drive both of these vehicles and make another video. I’ll wait here.

I drive the only 2 dr SUV still in production in the US. The Jeep Wrangler. But even I see that there is a definite reason for the 4 dr to exist and it is still good.

If I look out my window I can see his golden parachute all the way from here.

I hope that a collector buys them and restores them. But that guy isn’t me. They are a unique item of automotive history though.

Another Vet in full agreement.

That’s what I want to know. Did their study, as invalidated as it may be, determine whether or not those monkeys were as cancer prone as the claims are? What is the point of the research if you don’t publish your findings.

I have them on my Wrangler. Bright Orange 2 door, it really helps to make the classic look come through.

They look pretty good on my 2013 Wrangler too. I’ve been fond of them since I was a kid. The old Baja racers used them on their Broncos, Jeeps and buggies.

This is the first time I’ve seen that the NSG 370 is being replaced. I won’t be sorry to see it go. It is quite finicky compared to the NV3500 it replaced.

Well they produce less CO2 than a gasoline engine of similar size, and are more efficient, so.... But go ahead and cling to that idea that Diesel is dirtier than gas, the oil companies love it.

I’ve been hoping that Diesel technology would make a comeback in a few years. But, alas, the new extremely unreasonable NOX emissions standards have likely killed it for the passenger vehicle. Seems odd to me that they pushed such unrealistic goals on a form of internal combustion that is cleaner overall than

I can’t wait to see the first commercial from a rival, company dropping the corner of a heavy toolbox on that panel.

Definitely CP. The Toureg is supposed to be the poor man’s Q7. So there is no reality where it should cost more than the same year Q7, let alone some Cayennes.

I’m a Jeep guy, so of course I am going to say Jeep. It’s definitely one of the most loyal groups.

You already answered your question correctly. Get another XJ and transfer parts to it. It has history with you and should live on, but the rust and wiring issues make it less suitable to keep the body
