I'm pretty short, so the desk-height was working out okay for me when standing when I first posted this. Since then, I have gotten a little folding Breakfast-in-bed type tray from Target that I use to elevate the keyboard and trackpad. It's not integrated or high-tech, but it certainly works.

SDK for the Apple TV.

I am typing this comment on the Apple version of this keyboard. It is, without doubt, the best keyboard I have ever owned.

With Apple. Taking Apple out of the software and letting developers run the whole show would be an unqualified disaster.

This crying about no user-replacable battery is the oldest, stupidest argument against the iPhone. The only time I've ever needed to take a battery out of a cellphone was when the phone was misbehaving and needed a full reset. The iPhone has a way to do that full reset without taking anything apart. If you want a

I just bought a Quad-Core i7 Mac Mini with a 1TB fusion drive. It was $1,004 to start, then I spent another $90 to quadruple the RAM, from 4GB to 16GB. Plus $200 for a Dell S2440L monitor. I also bought a $109 VESA arm (which required a $20 adapter, because there are no VESA holes on the monitor).

Can anyone tell me what kind of monitor that is in the lede photo? It's got the aesthetic I've been searching for, but unable to find.

Doesn't work for me. Crashes every time I try to capture.

I'm not a Celiac, and I damn-well don't eat gluten-free, but I seriously appreciate this article. My girlfriend's oldest friend is a celiac and it takes a lot of effort to be able to go out and eat with her. That a disease has become a dietary trend is just asinine. People, if you want to lose weight, eat better, not

I will be doing a clean install on OS X tomorrow for the first time since switching to Mac in 2005.

That's called structuring, and it's illegal. Federally illegal. FBI at your door with cuffs federally illegal.

Pretty sure I learned most of this stuff from The Oatmeal.

Yup, that's what evolution is: the study of the origins of MATTER. That's totally accurate. That's why Charles Darwin wrote "On the Origins of Matter."

You're safe to replace your RAM and HDD. I've gotten plenty of service done with my own RAM and HDD installed.

I have to try. If we don't make an attempt to educate people, they'll continue laboring under misconceptions and future generations will continue to believe in utter nonsense.

Oh, yeah. I remember that article. Man, I can't tell you how relieved I am that you were joking. Actually, it's a perfect counterpoint to how disappointed I was when I read the article you were mocking.

This... Is satire, right?

There'll be one every bit as good at the celestial toystore in no time at a tiny fraction of the price.

1) First, why is "elected" in quotes? In both 2008 and this year, Obama won a clear majority in both the popular and electoral votes. Second, as the world's only remaining superpower (for now) and still the most influential country in the world, the US presidency is without doubt the most powerful and influential

You're a fucking dipshit. WBC is an organization whose entire existence is spent preying on people during times of unimaginable loss, all to promote an agenda of bigotry and hate, even when the dead they picket weren't anything to do with the thing they hate. They cause real and lasting harm to people in grief and
