A disproportionate number of people I grew up with became educators. Some of them are good teachers and some are bad. The only ones who became administrators were the bad teachers. They are now bad administrators.

Hasan has one of the sharpest minds I’ve ever seen on TV. I’m kinda stunned that anyone would attack him, except out of a sense of jealousy.

I don’t think he’s a sucker. I think he’s a rich guy acting like a rich guy. He’s just dealing with rich guys who were born into it and he’s a baby compared to them when it comes to acting selfishly.

If only someone had written a song about this sort of situation that he could have referred to.

Fair point. I have a friend who played Netflix at his desk all day (using earbuds). I know he was getting his work done, though. He liked background noise and it’s easier with episodes you’ve seen repeatedly, so you don’t care if you’re interrupted. Again, if you’re hired to do X, and X was getting done, who cares…

She probably just had it on while she worked.

I’m curious about what she was actually hired to do. I mean, you put somebody on the payroll, don’t give them instructions on what they’re supposed to do all day, don’t provide any supervision, and you should probably expect this to happen. Maybe, if you don’t have tasks for a person to do, I dunno, don’t hire that…
