Or he’d be shot for “resisting arrest”.
Another one of the characters, since the Alex Wilder character is (presumably) still African American.
And presumably the guy playing Alex Wilder.
Because the AF is run by fighter pilots and officer promotion (especially after Lt Col) is intensely political. You don’t make O7 by bucking the party line.
You don’t have to go so far as putting an Army/Marine general into the position. Put someone who was comm, security forces, transportation, etc (basically anyone not a pilot or flight line support for fighter planes) that doesn’t work for a large contracting company like Boeing, Lockheed, Northrup, etc and you’d…
I had a diabetic Russian Blue (who relapsed then recovered twice) who was mental for the Hills ID diabetic prescription food. Once he was put on that he wouldn’t eat anything else and neither would my other 2 cats. They’d actually try and steal his food if I tried to feed them anything else.
My cats won’t eat anything but Hills ID glycobalance food. Neither of them are diabetic but ever since my Russian Blue (who passed last month) was put on it for his diabetes they’ve refused anything else.
If I had to guess, crawdad, mudbug, or crawfish.
I work for a small IT company and bill by the hour. I get in between 6 and 7 am (lets me avoid most of the horrible Maryland/DC morning traffic) so I’m out the door between 2 and 3 most days.
Most of the people at my company work 6-2 or 7-3. 11am is halfway or more through the day for us *shrug*.
Star Fleet not using armor makes complete sense. They have personal shields that would work much better. Why they don’t use them on any of the shows/movies is a question worth answering, but they do exists in numbers sufficient to easily outfit every Starfleet officer on Earth...
Subaru, too...
In the United States you yield to cars on your right.
Black house is pretty strongly tied in, too.
I wish I’d listened to him when he said “stop reading now, you won’t like the ending”...
The Talisman books (The Talisman and Black House, mostly the second book) by King and Straub tie in pretty strongly. I don’t think you’ll be lost if you don’t read them, but they’re pretty strongly related.
My malamute was the same way...as soon as her ears went back it was shenanigans time.
Relieved I retired last year so I don’t have to deal with this bullshit...
