TBH, the Espace looks a lot more like the Aerostar to my eye:

These vans are yet another example of GM’s adventurous design being scuttled by the bean counters.

Remarkably, the Chinese also made a knock-off of this vehicle.

I agree completely. People on Jalopnik are always wanting for 500hp cars but the market is just not there. I know people who feel their 140hp Elantras are plenty fast for them. The 2.5l engine will be entirely adequate in the Crosstrek.

I don’t know how to tell you this, but the people of Asheville don’t do anything quickly. Adding more power won’t enhance their life. If you’re in a hurry to get from your micro-brewery job to hang with your friends at the drum circle, you’re missing the point.

It’s been decades since the Japanese brands taught the big three a lesson about the cost savings associated with simply using better parts suppliers, setting higher engineering and testing standards, and operating more efficient plants, and apparently they’ve still not learned anything.

The simplest way for Ford to get my money would be to make a car I want to buy. But they cancelled all those in an attempt to sell EcoSports, so I’m not in danger of buying a Ford any time soon.

So are most car purchases, my guy.

“boat that needs frequent trailering”

That is not a need. That is a choice.

I’ve seen each of those precisely twice, no more. The regular Rogue is something seen at least once a day.

Slow news day, huh?

Which street? Crack street?

Starred for “Soviet parade.”

I think people are referring to how some media outlets have reported the “Baby Bronco” will a pseudo-Jeep based on the Escape, while the Bronco itself will be the full-on Jeep-fighter.

I don’t understand the multiple comments now comparing this to the escape. Its not even remotely close. Ones based on a midsize truck and the other is based on compact sedan.

So basically, the taillight is following the same shape as the outline from the Bronco R. Got it!

Someone at Bentley should have done the same thing, the Bentayga looks like garbage from all angles.

Leave the Maxima alone! Or...maybe restyle it! And AWD.
