It bugged me a few years ago when car companies started keeping the same styling for a four year cycle, with the only tweaks being paint colors. This was the point when we car guys could no longer identify what year a given car was made.

My vote is for a Chevrolet Sonic sedan with the 1.4 L turbo and the six-speed manual shifter:

This car is like every car for sale on Craigslist in my area:

Was in lower Michigan about 4 years ago and saw a Corvette sedan in camo. Always thought GM was playing us, never thought I’d really see a production Corvette four door. Yikes.

At the cumulative rate of inflation since 1988, this car would sell for (new): $10,006.45
