You are oh-so-right — Volvo has certainly got a great looking, unobtrusive, scaleable design. If they start putting giant grilles on their vehicles, it will be a sure sign of the apocalypse.

A running, driving 4WD with a reasonably nice interior and zero rust? $2400? NP all day long. Wiggle the connectors, clean up the sensors, hang a diagnostic device on the OBD port, and drive it until it falls apart.

How is this a beater? Seems like a pretty solid daily for year round SUV style. NP.

Seller gives more info for a $2400 car than most sellers give for a $24,000 car. For that reason alone, NP.

No. This is less attractive than the Yukon. Lincoln’s designers easily outdid this, but Cadillac will likely continue to rule the sales charts.

Fake wood can be used for good and not evil. Ford had a way with it. The Mercury convertibles were silly but fun. And the Falcon Squire’s surround trim made the that wood look quite convincing and I’ve known one personally.
