Even in brown...it speaks to me.

You tell those bastards at Toyota that we need the Gr Yaris, but also the Corolla touring sports wagon

And that’s why I jumped on the 30AE, love the bright orange.

Honestly, what other car in the mid $20k price range provides the performance and feel of a Miata?
A quick non-comprehensive survey of the competition makes the Mazda an even more compelling value for pure sports car lineage. There are all great cars and more practical, but they are also all hotted up econoboxes.

I was 5 in 1989 so I have more buying power now.

The Miata’s price is not a problem. Its lack of colors is the problem.

And significantly more car than it was in 1989. Which some moron will inevitably reply “but I don’t want more car!” which isn’t realistic in today’s auto climate, and also not true because it wouldn’t sell if it were less car, and also just go buy a $3k NA.

No surprises here. Now that the new-car hype has worn off, it’s just a pickup truck, and in that world, bigger is always better. Why buy a midsize when you could have a full-sized truck is in the same price range, after incentives?

beadlocks on something that will never leave payment. Tale as old as time

Completely agree.  I appreciate them sticking to the original shape and making a “Jeep Truck”, but it is awful.  I would like to see a two door model with a slight extended cab or something, because the proportions of the 4-dr model just look “off” to me.

I know discounts are normal, but it seems a bit soon for discounts of this size. I’m not seeing that many on the road. Did initial demand disappear really quickly.

Get Neil Young involved.

I think Lincoln interiors are pretty great. This seems like a good collaboration.

Then fill it with batteries to create tail happy handling.

Please have that faux spare tire thing on the back.
