Is it just me, or does the Vinfast really have some Pontiac styling cues?

Lived in Boston for a few years and found the ‘T’ pretty easy to get around on. The Silver Line is the oddball, though, as it’s a bus masquerading as a train, or at least it was when I last lived there.
Just drive it 3-5k miles per year and then let someone else worry about that stuff.
Yes, there’s something about this front end that makes the refresh just appear ‘inelegant.’ Not bad, just a lot less attractive and distinctive.
My daughter’s 2006 Chevy Malibu Maxx will run rings around most other used cars. GM has built cars that make great hacks and beaters.
My grandfather owned a house and five acres back in the late 1930s/early 1940s and made his own doodlebug by melding a ‘30 Model A and a rear end from an ice delivery truck. My brothers and I learned to drive on that tractor. Grandpa sold it independently of the acreage in the 1990s and it was still operable. We were…
Similar find in my neck of the woods, an 80s truck priced way too high:
Nice but not $8750 nice. ND
From ‘75 to ‘90, the hawk was not on the cars (except for maybe the Skyhawk and Regal), only in the television and print ads. It was supposed to express freedom and adventure along with being a step-down from the ol’ American Eagle.
The one photo is such a clear shot showing ‘AVEO LS’ that I don’t know how anyone missed it.

Someone had to do it, the man was a legend.
What’s not to like? Be the only kid on your block to own one.
Maybe it’s as he was wantin’ to do?
Almost perfect. The taillamps on the Cherokee give it away as the 1999-2001 version. Not early enough in the decade to be a perfect match.
Does this qualify?
My dad bought a brand new but not loaded Olds Delta 88 in 1970 for just under $5k, so maybe $7k covered the owner’s car, rental car, towing, and whatever else was lost in the ‘blubbering.’
Back in 2019, a guy went around and drilled holes in the gas tanks of 14 Nissan vehicles because he could. My Rogue Sport was one of them. But the gas simply drained onto the ground, and I lost an entire tank full.
Nope. Different times in our lives call for different cars. You’re good.
Where are the little trucks like the Hilux? We don’t all need a truck that can tow a house or haul 3 acres worth of manure.
