You can't be Siri-ass...

I figured they were just showing the generators ("is powered by super-sized generators") alongside the image of the mobile tower.

The problem with the catharsis hypothesis is that people assume that by venting they'll reduce the amount of anger they're carrying around, like deflating a balloon.

Probably a SCR (if DC) or solid-state relay (if AC). A SCR capable of handling 12V@1A should run about two bucks.

That was my point, on the brands, though: The site I used listed the exact name-brand and model number of the part. I was willing to wiggle a bit on things like brand of PSU (as long as it was a good name) and case, especially if I got a nicer case for the same cash. With smaller builders, you can call in and ask them

"Of course the filled tanks are lighter, they're filled with helium!"

Don't forget to shop the builders also, though. I figured out what parts I wanted for the last PC I wanted to make, was about to order the parts, then figured "what the heck" and priced it on a few builder sites.

The previous act disallows automated messages. Currently, they can call but there needs to be a living, breathing, expensive human on the other end of the line. Pass the new law they're talking about and they get to cut expenses and stick in a cheap machine to do the work of pestering you 24/7 about politicians.

There's a US version of this at donotcall.gov, but it specifically doesn't cover such things as political communications and surveys. Those are still prohibited by the 1934 act, but if this passes, soon will not be.

You think so? I think it lax something, myself.

Everyone knows fluoride is in the water and accounts for this. Machines running mission-critical systems, however, tend to have companies with hordes of slavening lawyers at their beck and call.

From what I can tell, "Kindle App" refers to the device using an app to read Kindle material, since it's primarily a (heavily modified) Android tablet.

You know, that could use some modifications: A self-contained nanomachine assembly system for repairs and creation of new machines, a learning and distributed artificial intelligence, maybe the ability to mimic other machines to blend into its surroundings, a nice weapons system or two...

See, that's the thing, it specifically says they searched for "zombies" and doesn't mention anything on translations of the word at all. In fact, it doesn't show that they even searched for "zombie" singular.

"Uh, oops?"

Actually, if you have any listening ears over at Bliz, I bet a plain port of Diablo to Android and/or iOS would rake in some cash...

Save a bit of cash aside and wait until Black Friday, then hit the mfr online stores.

Such a device is simply not possible here, as it would surely detonate with proximity to Earth.

No comment on the B5 deaths, but as far as Optimus goes, I think he's pulled off the "tragic self-sacrifice" in every media he's ever been in: Comics, old movie, new movies, cartoons...
