Which one has cost the most in repairs so far?

This was a shocking and unexpected twist

My two cars are XJs :) My two cars are not both Jeeps :)

You're a treasure and Jalopnik should pay you more money

I would buy it, totally expecting the IMS to go, and then part out the car. An IMS repair can be a solid $2500.

Adrian Newey in his book How to Build a Car felt that McLaren was wrapped too tightly and it stifled creativity.

Lando being a McLaren driver, more than anything, is what makes me glad that the Ron Dennis era is over.  Not to take anything from his accomplishments (I became a fan of McLaren’s F1 team under his watch), but there is no way he would’ve let Lando be as... Lando, as he is.

Just added complexity, Mercedes don’t care about the turd owners in 5-10 years. This will cost a fortune to replace. Mercedes is not getting my used car money on this one.

Also, fun fact, the Kitten’s owner’s club newsletter is called the “mewsletter”.

Scrolling through internally saying: “want, want, want, would have, want, want, want, want, want, would have, want, want, want, want”.

I live there, and I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you it’s not that.

Yeah and if you can’t pay off your mortgage or write next months rent check, move to a tent. But only if you can pay cash for the tent.

The Corvette kept its composure even with mid-corner gear changes, so smooth were the shifts that they surely must have been lubricated by purist tears.

Stupidity is not the same thing as immorality.

Bill’s Porsche fandom goes way back. His infamous mugshot was taken after he was arrested for having a little bit too much fun with his first 911 on the desert roads around Microsoft’s original office in Albuquerque.

Are we just ignoring the fact the Bill has always been into Porsche?  He, and his 959, are the reason we have the Show and Display law.

The Taycan purchase is not a surprise. Bill is a Porsche fan and also owns a freaking 959, which instantly grants him all kinds of cred that no amount of tweeting can undo.

What are you going on about?  Overlanding does not mean eschewing all forms of technology and punching trees for firewood like you’re playing fucking Minecraft.

I mean, it’s just mag lev train in a tube going in a straight line. Something goes wrong the magnets can power down and the friction slows it down. It seems A LOT less complex than an airplane.

Again, I’m no scientician, but well... there you have it.

A truly proud day for the citizens of the great state of Kansas.
