Good lord do I wish I was in the market for this. I always had it in my head as “if only they’d combine the lux spec with the high performance kit, I’d have had that”, and now I can (well, no I can’t).

Please, lottery gods, bring me my dream Alpine and Alpina 2 car garage.

I think it’s more to do with Euro limits on scoots. I know in the UK there’s a class of 50cc scoots that are restricted to 30mph as a legal thing for younger riders and I’m sure it is the same in Europe. So it’s more likely developed for that reason, meeting certain governing specs so more people can use it but not

This is the correct take, although the CBR250 is cool (my friend had a Honda Hornet 250, same engine I think) it’s the NC30 that is the real gem of the miniature sports bikes/race replicas.

Not that I’m biased, I’ve had two, but they really are just spectacular. My first proper bike at 18 and a replacement after

God damn I miss my 7.5R, I’d have it back in a heartbeat if I could afford to. Manual 2dr with 19" pretorias and the dynaudio soundpack. The PERFECT daily that also happens to put a huge smile on your face with a bit of boost. I need that car back, badly.

Thank you, common sense right? I just know some people get antsy about that sort of thing for whatever reason and was trying to head off the “akshully” style comments.

I’ve ridden the Enfield Himalayan off-road here in the UK and was really quite impressed with it. Aside from a lack of power, it felt pretty well judged, and off-road the power wasn’t dangerously lacking, just soft, good for adventuring.

I’d be interested to see how this makes it’s power, as I am tempted to look at

100% desperately want to do a track day there now, look at that place!

A tonne of well deserved positive comments on here, figure I might as well add to the pile of randoms on the internet giving you positive plaudits.

Congrats on coming out the other side of that dark hole, not enough people do and seeing how well you’ve done since is pretty damn awesome. Keep going, and keep focusing

Actually kinda relieved that the 500 is actually being updated/replaced. I thought I’d heard rumours that the PSA tie up meant that the 500 would die, which just seemed plain stupid, at least in Europe, where it’s sold a bajillion units. I mean, I’m not in line to buy one, nor would I necessarily recommend anyone buy

Absolutely not an expert, but the Kitten did need leaded fuel, so that’s one particularly bad start on the emissions front.
Also, fun fact, the Kitten’s owner’s club newsletter is called the “mewsletter”.

Ah, the Mk7. That wasn’t a great thing about it but I do remember the knob on the Golf I had did something even more heinous (if you think this is bad, it’s all relative obviously).
The way it was constructed meant that it had “notches” rather than a continuous turn. So, you got that feel of going “one” louder.

OMG you mean I can nip down to my local track (well, one of many) and pick up a can for free* to try myself? Awesome!

Might just get myself down to a BSB event this year just so I can get myself some sweeeeet nectar... I mean, I was going anyway, but now, I just have to be there.

Ever wondered how much you can see?

Absolutely love it.
Two things occurred to me though.
1: a turbo Audi inline 5, and a Lancia Delta Integrale drivetrain. 2 of the best/most famous rally cars, in one awesome spaceship car.
2: I can’t quite work it out, but would your line of sight, when the canopy is closed, completely obscure your view of any of the

Not bad.

It is still very odd to me, knowing that I regularly drive past Bruntingthorpe, and how I used to work there. But really didn’t know how many insanely talented and clever automotive and engineering minded people pass through that place. I mean, yes, some of the things I saw when I worked there will always stay with

That’s ok, I drive through Bruntingthorpe every Tuesday to get to work in Lutterworth (used to work at Bruntingthorpe itself and often saw Astras flying around).
A friend lives in Upper Bruntingthorpe, ex US Air force base, bloody Americans, thinking they’re above anyone else ... I mean, sure, the planes were, but

I mean, if he was British or Irish, he could stick them up his R’s, but alas, that joke doesn’t cross the pond too well.

Didn’t he say he want’s something he can’t get in Aus?
