Has the Land Rover’s gremlins transferred over to the poll/website too? I can’t bloody vote!

Yeah, never realised it was a teachable skill with a name, just thought it was “how you drive”.

Yeah, forgivable as they were hardy but not that memorable (I say that having had a Bravo). It’s almost as if Fiat found a box hidden at the factory that was marked “dependability” and sprinkled it over some of their 90's cars, then promptly lost that box again.

That’s the thing, some of the Fiats of that vintage were unexpectedly quite hardy little things, the 480 was sadly quite unexpectedly fragile.
Things that would normally have been bulletproof on a Volvo were almost British car level wonky.
All that said, I still want one badly.

Came here just to see if anyone would say something about the 480 being on the list. They really are very very poorly made. It is a shame as they are awesome cars in principle, almost everything about them should be brilliant, but they’re just so fragile.

I mean who wouldn’t?

Goddamn that looks good!

Yes we all know they never will, but goddamn, it is wonderful.

Plus, BLUEUEUEEEEEEE VELOUR! Gimme gimme gimme, want it now!

I’ve never wanted a Lotus more (look, I’m just not a fan OK?). Yes it’s overpriced, but I like the bedraggled underdog look. I’d absolutely have this and be massively proud of how crap it is.

Stef the True Racer speaks the true true*. We must all heed her words and race.

*if anyone gets that is a reference and not just poor English, I’ll be emotionally moved.

Look, I get it, you guys want wagons, but this thing means we’ve lost a damn good looking 2 door (3 door to us) hatch/coupe.
In GT form, it looked great:

You’re damn write I can’t.

Honestly, I think I’ve seen almost zero Pulsars in the UK.
Although I think one day recently I saw 3 in a row in an offramp queue and thought “oh yeah, they still make those”. I then forgot about them because I needed that brainspace for useful things, like remembering to clip my toenails.
Yeah, they won’t be missed.

Look, I know I’m late to the party here (I was away in Sweden ok) but, what the hell? You mean, you own a fleet of rusty/crusty and wonky vehicles, taking on basket cases of projects but you COULDN’T WELD?!?

Right, I knew you were a bit mad, but jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzz....

You really are a true Jalop ;)

Sometimes, with these suggestions, I’d love to be able to vote on what my choice would be from our wonderful writers.... Because that FoST needs a billion votes of yes!
I mean, we do it for NPoCP, why not this? Don’t give me the technical reasons why not, because yes I know it’s not that simple at all, but we can still

After reading about how BMW and Toyota engineers approached car design from a different standpoint, I now see that ethos in the new Z4. Making the design fit the structure of the car underneath rather than the other way round just makes this much worse than it looks at first glance.

That means, all that visual weight

Hot take, I don’t like Ferrari Dinos at all.

Mild take, an F40 motor without the turbos isn’t an F40 motor anymore.

Regular take, this seems nice.

Right with you. No matter how much wax to style it out of the way, it will always be there making a nuisance of itself.
