Dammit, how am I supposed to root against an ST? How am I supposed to root against a Volvo?
Oh, a Saab 9-5 turbo you say? Last of the best Swedish brand you say? Well sign me up sir...

Hush your noise reasonable Honda people, this is a conversation for those who like their sensible shoes a little bit odd.

I cannot even begin to fathom how anyone might think it’s racist. I honestly had no idea (white) people were that fragile. Scratch that, I live in the UK, everyone here is still butthurt about how stupid the world thinks we are for Brexit (it is stupid, you’re all right). Good call out though.

One thing I was pissed

Gimme a Polestar V60 naow...

That’s weird, other places are reporting this final run comes with the Mountune 375hp upgrade and the Quaife uprated front diff which makes the slightly higher price a bit more palateable.

I like the Orange, I wouldn’t have it but at least it’s different. The other upgrades are a bit more worthwhile though.

I’m not one to usually wade into things like this, because I truly hate Trump and all that he brings to the table, but damn if he’s not a really good Antichrist.

I mean, you’ve spun it really well for him to sound like a messiah, but maybe you don’t have to spin it at all? Maybe, he just is evil incarnate.

I don’t

We’re trying damnit. Well, I’m not, the more I make noise about it being a bad decision the more people tell me I’m moaning and that I should “shut up, you lost” etc.

It’s feeling like half the people on the bus with blindfolds on said “that way” towards a cliff, now the driver has jumped out for safety and the

A friend’s parent had a W8 wagon for a couple of years before maintenance became an issue. It was wonderfully smooth, they didn’t care for the running costs too much as they already had a V12 E type and a Mk1 Golf Gti that they’ve owned from new. Other previous vehicles in their stable included a Mk2 Gti 16v (from

Sees budget, sees “Daily Driver: Yes”, looks at Jalop staff suggestions, is not at all surprised.

I mean, the Viper may not be unreliable, the BMW may be plush, the Alpine may be nippy and the Lotus may handle beautifully. I love them all, I love all of the writers here, but DAMN are you trying to ruin/kill this poor

If it’s a Maestro then nobody cares.
If it’s one of the Unos then I think I may know why.

Absolutely, here’s one to bake your noodle a bit:

It’s ok, you don’t need to explain our import rules, I live in sunny Leicester.

I remember a brief stint working in parts delivery for VW in the UK, I kinda wish I didn’t remember.
I know most places aren’t bad and I’m not going to tarnish the brand any more than it already has been (though VW parts in the UK are distributed by a slightly separate company called TPS). And I bear VW no ill will, I

Thing is, they aren’t really GM stores any more. I don’t know how soon it would likely have changed over, but I’m not sure the ordering systems here would even realistically allow you to import something through an official dealer like that unless they specifically are set up to do so (like that one in London).

We do have Opel and Vauxhall, but nobody ever viewed the Chevy “brand” as being their equal. They were always the budget option. And if you’re a budget option compared to a Vauxhall, you might as well be dirt on someone’s shoe*.

*ok so that is a bit dramatic, but some people did genuinely think this.

Ah, that makes sense really. London is it’s own country after all. Though I would have thought they were an import business rather than an official franchise. I’m happy at least there’s an official way to get hold of a ‘vette in this country, even if I can’t actually afford one.

I see Mustangs on the daily, they are pretty popular and although most people projected massive depreciation they barely lose much compared to most other cars.
That said I don’t know whether it would be a big enough market for both the ‘stang and the Camaro at the same time. Especially considering Ford is a relatively

I’d be interested to see if they’re actually “sales” places or just a service desk in another franchised GM dealer though.
I’m actually amazed anyone officially ordered a Chevrolet at all, they had no market presence really when they did officially sell here. Now they might as well not exist for most UK people.

I thought they’d be more service provision than actual dealers but even then, it’s hard to believe there are any left at all.

Where do you even buy a Chevrolet in the UK now? There are no dealers as far as I know.

Maybe they don’t consider themselves objectified, I don’t think I’m qualified to really comment on how they feel about how they are being viewed, I just know that they are actually being objectified by the people who employ them. I have seen the interviews, and read their points thoroughly. I understand that they are
