Brand new rental Mercedes Sprinter van.
Myself and 2 friends had rented said van to go to Cadwell park for a bike track day.

Always knew it would’ve struggled if it had a standard engine.

A 240k, on Dubai plates, in the UK?!? What the hell is going on here?

Only really giving it the benefit of the doubt simply because it’s so similar to the 458, that and I am yet to see it in person.

But brah, it’s so fresh yo, like totally dope...

Ferrari’s current styling trope is “More is MORE!”

I love me some overpowered exotica but I can’t get over how fugly this thing is inside and out.
Saying it looks like a Corvette is a real disservice to the ‘vette!
Aside from the 458 and 488 Ferrari has been well off the mark in terms of styling for some time.
Normally when cars aren’t as pretty as a Lamborghini it’s

Ford Spirit Blue for the ST - Because it is just the best colour, plus I’m a dynamic go-getter who wants to be noticed (I drive like a dick in the ST).

Rustoleum Satin Black for the Passat - Because I am an individual and want to be seen (I couldn’t afford decent paint and thought it’d tide me over for a bit, also,

Looking at it I think it might even sub-Yaris in terms of cost cutting (think Aygo), which I actually think could be a genius move if it hits all the right notes.
There’s only really been one contender in that space in recent times and it was severely let down by terrible engine and gearbox choices, I’m looking at YOU

I really like the Sports 800 but I would still be hard pressed to call it good looking. “Cute” maybe, “endearing” definitely but “attractive”? Not so much.

Noticed the sign first, disabled parking on the stairs?!? What kinda place is this!?!*
Clearly this XJ has a keen sense of social justice, “No stairs for handicappers damnit... RAAARRRH”

*Sardonic

Thing is I don’t even think they could make the rear deck/C-pillar proportions right. I’d actually forgive the front end if the backside wasn’t so much suck...
That said, a tuner version of this (in the vein of the Speedhunters FRS) would definitely be something I’d admire, if not buy.

It’s a perfectly crafted budget sportscar interior, there is no way I can see how the hell they’d improve on this. Just such a shame the exterior lets the side down massively.

Probably because the Euro market would be all over this.

Love the interior, engineering and ethos of the thing.... The styling is utterly hideous though. Like a Mini Paceman that has been squeezed from the front like a toothpaste tube.

I’m going to hope really really hard too, though mainly that it’ll look better if it gets made. With our combined hoping powers we may just

Peugeot 406 2.2 Hdi

Damnit, missed this one!

Had a good one myself with the only time I’ve ever sold a vehicle (despite having had 10) to someone who had no idea how adverts, or Ebay, works.

Good call on the prediction, old slightly ratty cars with matte paint certainly is true... And how dare you call it a fad!! (says the guy with a 26 year old german car with satin black paint)

Utterly brand agnostic, though some preferences, I wouldn’t count me out on buying anything as long as it was excellent enough for my discerning pallette... Except for most non-sporting Renaults that is, just NO!
