So he could impress us by being edgy in the comments

In my experience I’ve found this to be the case for most supercars. I think it’s just something about the length and width combined with the generally lower height that makes them looks significantly larger in pictures and video than a standard car.

I just came here to say Mr. JWW is one of my favorite car youtubers at the moment. I feel like his videos are high quality and balanced well between car and lifestyle, and seeing him experience this was exciting. He seems like a genuinely nice guy, and this was clearly a big moment for him and I’m glad he shared it so

Even the most accurate plane movies occasionally make this mistake. Sully, which was fantastic and avoided most goofs, showed an overhead shot of an airport where you could spot a 737-800 with split-scimitar winglets, which hadn’t yet hit the market at the time of the events depicted.

My vote would be for every ‘airplane takes off then lands to indicate travel’ scene in every movie or tv show ever because 99.999% of the time they don’t use the same plane, or even the same airline. Couple it with showing one plane’s exterior and then an interior that doesn’t match...just terrible.

As I understand it design patents are really easy to get around. Had Mercedes patented the pictured design I don’t think the “copy” would have legal issues. It looks similar, sure, but it doesn’t look exactly the same.

I don’t think we’ll see a rotary from Mazda that isn’t just a range extender for an EV, period.

Nah, you can see the kid in black’s hand like a frame later on his left side. I play basketball frequently (not well, mind you), there’s no chance he could put that sort of spin and power on it in the frames we see.

It’s my best guess anyways. I’ve watched it so many times....you can see the kid in the yellow does come down with the ball, to about shoulder height, before letting go. If you look at the shadow of the basket any shadow from the ball would be in the direction the kid is blocking.

This is somehow made worse by the fact that it wasn’t a repair but...

It’s bouncing off into the grass behind the kid that got STUFFED

Are you sure Recaros aren’t? Ford did not word it well:

I read it as Recaros are included, you just get the choice of leather or cloth.

Gross

Pretty sure recaros and Magride are part of the PP2. Not sure about active exhaust but I think it might also be included

GTPP is 9 front 9.5 rear, with 255/275 standard

The tire rack banner from Solo Nationals made it easy to spot, though I just removed it.

I think the word for what would happen to the side of the car is “degloving”. I would recommend you not google that.

Statistically over some amount of time did the amount and severity of injuries in small overlap crashes significantly reduce after the introduction of the passenger side test when compared to the cars developed for the driver side test only.

I agree with you here, though I do think there’s an interesting ethical question to be raised about how carmakers advertise against these safety ratings. If the small overlap is factored into whatever score they are “selling” and the small overlap test only accounts for the driver side, is it made clear to the buyer
