I don’t understand why people are so angry about fake sound. It sounds good inside.

Over a second? I don’t think it’s that bad. From a standstill there’s a bit of lag, but if you pick the right gear the throttle response is quite good.

I don’t know about ‘vastly superior’. Motortrend recently compared the two and preferred the Ecoboost, and they usually prefer GM products.

I can’t imagine it affects it much if you aren’t hammering down everywhere.

Trim-to-trim it’s more like $6k to get the GT. Then you get a top heavy motor and a nose heavy car that gets about 15 MPG combined

I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if the 2018 refresh sees a power bump.

It was supposed to be available last week. I saw on the Mustang6g forums some people getting price quotes from dealers, so you may try giving your dealer a call. I only haven’t because I want to try and resist buying it right now.

This sounds very inline with the popular off the shelf aftermarket tunes, with the added bonus of being warrantied.

The 100 hp increase at 6000 RPM is believable because the stock tune dives at that point.

I am planning on getting this at some point for mine. Only thing holding me back is my desire to run in the stock class at a national level autocross sometime next year.

But you’re wrong. I think it’s more attractive now as it doesn’t follow the formula of ‘who cares about the car, how about that engine?!’

No way does the Camaro have no blind spots.

In premium trim it frankly should be competing against Luxury coupes as it’s quite nice while not being too expensive.

That would maybe be true if sales sucked from day 1, but it’s been selling really well until now.

Ecoboost Mustang?

Why do you need to speed? If you can’t scratch your enthusiast itch following the law on the road, take it to a track.

It’s a free country, and you’re free to leave if you don’t like it

Pretty sure that’s how it worked in SSX

It’s not unusual in sports cars. Miata’s have had them in the trunk for years. Pretty sure the McLaren’s have them in the frunk like Porsches do.

Battery isn’t under the engine cover
