Seriously, this fucking nails it. Did Britt not see Big Little Lies? His character oozed eerie charisma.

Skarsgård seems like yet another misstep in The Stand’s casting, which has been all over the damn map.

I want to grind this comment to a fine powder and snort it.

lol

I like the Grandpa stories in general and wouldn't say no to more than one of them.

I’m honestly a little impressed that the Raiders have been able to surprise me with their new levels of incompetence. Fining a talented player over something stupid and then suspending him for being mad about the fines is just a beautifully innovative new way to suck as an organization.

“To accomplish both requires either a camera that can recognize your face or a fingerprint reader that works through the display.”

But they don’t have to.  Running backs are largely a commodity in today’s NFL.  The top contracts almost exclusively go to quarterbacks and edge rushers with a few WRs thrown in. Overpaying for a running back is dumb.

Except every extra dollar they pay Gordon is a dollar less to spend elsewhere. And there is no guarantee as to how long he will remain healthy. The team is playing their strongest hand. I dont have a problem with Gordon holding out but he just doesn't have much leverage at this point.

For real.  I mean, it had a freaking lesbian wedding in season 1.  It was definitely a ground breaking show.

Funny seeing people complaining about how dated the show is...at the time it came out, there were a lot of think pieces about how cutting-edge it was, showing a then-new sociological concept, the “urban tribe” composed of the then-coming-of-age-and-mysterious GENERATION X, and how these characters did then-new stuff

Guess how many piles of literal human shit I passed on my way into work this morning.

Probably the best summation of America I have ever seen:  Dog Killers>Truth Tellers

I’m going to draw the ire of many WRX enthusiasts here, but I’m doing it anyway: The WRX is not the gold standard. It’s barely even the silver standard. It’s fast-ish, but it also handles like hell, Subaru isn’t known for their interiors, and their gas mileage is trash.

I’m guessing at least three of those emails are just Drew using a fake name. Fucking nobody is named Keven.

Some people are fans of the Los Angeles Chargers.”

My first was a ‘77, same body as this, but lots of broughamy bling that people often mistook it for an Olds or sometimes even a Cadillac. The GM “colannade coupes” were terrible in so many ways, but they were pretty, and popular.

Is there a downside here?

That jaw unhinges and he eats things whole.

It knows what it did.
