I like the Grandpa stories in general and wouldn't say no to more than one of them.

I’m honestly a little impressed that the Raiders have been able to surprise me with their new levels of incompetence. Fining a talented player over something stupid and then suspending him for being mad about the fines is just a beautifully innovative new way to suck as an organization.

But they don’t have to.  Running backs are largely a commodity in today’s NFL.  The top contracts almost exclusively go to quarterbacks and edge rushers with a few WRs thrown in. Overpaying for a running back is dumb.

Except every extra dollar they pay Gordon is a dollar less to spend elsewhere. And there is no guarantee as to how long he will remain healthy. The team is playing their strongest hand. I dont have a problem with Gordon holding out but he just doesn't have much leverage at this point. 

For real.  I mean, it had a freaking lesbian wedding in season 1.  It was definitely a ground breaking show.

Funny seeing people complaining about how dated the show is...at the time it came out, there were a lot of think pieces about how cutting-edge it was, showing a then-new sociological concept, the “urban tribe” composed of the then-coming-of-age-and-mysterious GENERATION X, and how these characters did then-new stuff…

I’m going to draw the ire of many WRX enthusiasts here, but I’m doing it anyway: The WRX is not the gold standard. It’s barely even the silver standard. It’s fast-ish, but it also handles like hell, Subaru isn’t known for their interiors, and their gas mileage is trash.
