I think Torchy got into Elon’s medicine cabinet.

You KNOW there’s someone out there saying “It don’t look like a truck anymore”

Just be happy it isn’t coming back as an SUV.

Indeed. Cars are more expensive than ever. For some context the average new car price is around $34,000 these days. (A base Mustang GT starts at $35,355 without any decent options, but good luck finding one.) But as you note, it could be argued buyers are getting more than ever before—more power, more safety, more

“The bottom line is that FCA has to do this, because if this knockoff is sold here, “

Jeep in some parts of the country can also apply to any 4x4.

this is where a physical lockout is key. My MS3 (6 spd, RUL) has a pin on the shifter rod that hits a physical wall when you bring it over to first/second and has to be pushed toward the floor to go into reverse. The collars on Subarus and Toyotas serve the same purpose.

It’s definitely a nice truck, but it’s funny how so may people think a big truck is needed to tow anything. The VW Golf is designed to be able to tow caravans that are much larger than the Airstream Basecamp.

When you get your ass grabbed on the dance floor, turn around and there is a 6 foot something 250+lb bear wearing nothing but leather chaps, a harness and a smile....your first instinct is to quickly walk away before it turns into a puppet show.

*came off when new. Tracy Jeeps don’t seem to have all the original factory options like “moving fasteners”.

Nice. I got to ski Baker the year that they received more snow than anywhere on the planet. There was so much snow that the chair lift that runs across the flats, had to have a trench dug out for it. We quite literally were sitting on the lift next to walls of snow.

Maybe you don’t live in a city. When I lived in a city I rarely went over 12,000 miles a year.  Now I live in Montana and 20,000 a year will be light for me.

Why does 15,000 miles a year not seem that much to me?

The nail clipper thing took it from “maybe a good idea” to insanity. I actually see the point of the TSA agents giving my retired Fedex flyer grief. You are checking passengers and suddenly someone that isn’t on the crew list shows up in an unfamiliar uniform of a Pilot. Yeah, that guy needs a second check. It

As Oppo’s resident conservative and generally a Trump administration apologist, please allow me to opine on the trade war with China:

UPS doesn’t want people blowing red lights and speeding through school zones in big brown vans that say UPS on the side.”

I just texted a guy on CL who advertised his 2015 cayman as having a Slant 6.

I tried sending a handful of e-mails to people selling their RX-8's because the motors were flooded, and just gave them a friendly tip about how to get it started for free instead of having to pay the $3k it costs at the dealership; they all took their cars off CL, but not a single one ever replied with a “thanks.”

I will general provide constructive criticism for cars that seem worthy, but are horribly marketed. I’m almost never interested in the specific car, but like a psycho, I think it is good to let people know how to do it better.
