Unless you, you know, live near a desert. Which lots of people do.

This!! I have a current-gen Taco too and it it feels gargantuan on the trails compared with my 2nd-gen 4Runner that it replaced. Now imagine it nearly a foot wider and you’ve got the Raptor.

This. I have “breakfast”(a granola bar, an apple and coffee) in the car every morning because I have a long, open highway commute and might as well munch on it in motion rather than shove it my face on the way out the door.

I agree with you that on the track the E36 is certainly superior because it is undeniably faster and the interior build quality doesn’t matter for a track car.

As a former E36 owner(not an M, but doesn’t effect this comment) the interior build quality is honestly a problem and the older they get the more fall-aparty they get. It’s an easy thing to discount on the interwebs but it really impacted my enjoyment of the car. It’s not the cheapness so much as the fact that shit

My manual 2018 Tacoma has exactly this. I’ve only had it trigger(as in beep at me) twice in 7000 miles, both times when someone slammed on their brakes in front of me. Both times if it did get on the brakes on itself it was a split second before I got on them. If you’re paying attention you’re both feet in anyway by

From a diesel Corolla-related hatchback of all things

You absolutely can! Matt Farah’s final One Take posted last week was of one he had as a press car. He had a lot of good things to say about it, honestly that’s kind of what reminded me it exists

If Toyota didn’t offer a manual on the Tacoma they would not have gotten my money. I wanted a stick shift and a transfer case, I don’t really need a pickup, it hauls bikes, skis and camping gear, not lumber. A JKU would’ve suited me fine but I want this to last me a long time as a combination daily/adventure vehicle

I’m a software engineer and I still use the command prompt every single day because there are still things I need to do that require a greater level of direct interaction with the machine or are just easier and use less resources that way.

If you want a fast, great handling and exotic looking Toyota with a proper transmission Lotus has you covered.

I can’t imagine it causing more trouble than either a normal hot V or cold V would, besides needing to be pretty creative with intake and exhaust manifolds

Here’s some pro-level Snapchat drafting

How sad does a person’s life need to be to wax poetic about an Oldsmobile Aurora

Well, I completeted the first part and bought a new one with some discounts(for less than I saw any current gens with the same trim listed used) but now that I have it you’ll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands

Used Tacoma, mysteriously more expensive than a new one.

(It is annoying if you already know the part number, then they should just give you the part you want whether or not it’s right) but as a software engineer it makes a lot of sense why they need every detail for a part number lookup, while it is intuitive to human beings what parts of the car have zero impact on what

I’m in the same boat. Long commute, boring job(I like my job, but it’s not something that’ll set your pants on fire). I only have room for one car, so I wanted something fun, practical, reliable and something I’ll still keep and use when I have room for a fun second car in a few years. It’s in budget, manual, 4wd,
