AWD, meh I’m kind of with you there. I see why they did it, they’ll probably get some more sales they would’ve lost in the snow belt but it doesn’t really fit for me.

I think you might’ve misused the word ‘thrill’
My E36 Compact has roughly the same liftback-style hatch(no second trunk obviously) and the one and only time I can think of where having the decklid open like a trunk was when I was in an extremely low garage and didn’t have enough space to open the hatch all the way.
Slap Atlas on the side and continue, it’s just as related
1. If you drive it just to drive it and not to go anywhere.
Yep!! I’m aware I’m a hypocrite, but if I could afford a new BMW with a stick I would buy one
Well that I won’t be able to fucking unsee
I wouldn’t call the Fit soul-killing.
I’d rather have a Subaru WRX than a big lego haha. Actually I’d rather have a Focus ST but that’s besides the point
Not as expensive as cars, let alone McLarens
Much cheaper, a real McLaren is made out of much more exotic materials than legos and steel and also does, in fact, include tires.
I agree with the first point but I’m not seeing the second one.
Ya I know but that’s pretty much just assumed and diesel is injected too, so i really denotes gas and d denotes diesel.
Yeah I’m pretty into BMWs and I think you might be right that the Isetta’s pretty much the only BMW ever to not be primarily denoted by an alpha-numeric name. The New Class and Bavaria come to mind but those were still primarily denoted by their displacement
Do you know what I miss most? When the “BMW numbers and letters” or “Mercedes numbers and letters” actually described what you were buying. I have an E36 BMW 318ti, which means 3-series with a 1.8-liter engine, t-touring because it’s the funny looking hatchback one and i-because it’s a gas engine. If I bought a 525i…
Eh, the turbo boxer-4 Porsches aren’t the worst sounding cars ever. They have nothing on the sixes that preceded them. They kinda sound Subaru STI-ey which is a downgrade but not the worst
Because they do the best job of showcasing the abilities of the console well without needing to make the trailer look better than the final game will. It’s easier to replicate the motion of a machine than a human or animal, so cars moving look more natural than people. Also a race track is a much more finite and…
Oh, a body lift. Yeah I guess that would work and not fuck with the suspension geometry but that starts getting a little pointless past what they did there
