Not even just that, if you’re buying a truck to build a brand new one probably isn’t the best move unless you’re rolling in money

I’ll have a sad if they do an M version and don’t call it the M Coupe.
Exactly, everyone who just wants to buy the badge for as little as possible is getting a Macan, so a larger proportion of Boxster owners do care about personality
I’ve never really understood the BMW maintenance stigma. I mean post 2000 they started getting some complicated electronics but so did literally everything else. They’re well engineered so if you take care of it it’s not going to just spontaneously blow up.
Part of me wishes I had a sedan or a coupe with the 6 instead of the hatch but the hatch definitely has its charms.
Based off the video it sounds like some of the model-specific stuff can’t be found anywhere.
Exactly! There’s nothing about my E36 Compact that makes it ill-suited as a daily driver besides it being a touch on the older side but even just on the daily commute I find plenty of opportunity to have a bit of fun, and even if not I’m happy just to be driving it.
Most driving is boring but an entertaining car is 100% worth it for those moments when you find yourself on an empty twisty road and you get to rip.
What I’ve never understood is people sending cars like this into a shop for a restoration without doing a TON of research to make sure the shop is appropriate for the job.

I think you might be right, they also didn’t bring em to the US. Where’d it say anything about an automatic?
This is true, I forgot the estate didn’t come here. I highly doubt the E30 325i wagon was the fastest wagon in the world at the time. Though the E39 540 actually could’ve been if you think about it, they didn’t make an estate version of the E39 M5
Betcha it’s an e34 M5 touring
Your GT350 is for sale?
I’ve never found them that exciting for what they are. Yeah they’re a bit faster than a GT350 but even if price wasn’t an issue I’d have the GT350 every day of the week
I would much rather sit next to a dog than just about any human
Nope, won’t fit guess you’re going to have to go for a drive instead of going golfing!
I actually disagree, I wouldn’t want my shifter to be a shovel handle, that’s just asking for trouble and at the very least a sweat and dirt covered shifter, a hand-held GPS is really cheap and the bare metal.. I mean yeah it’s pretty cool but good luck passing safety requirements with that.
