I’m on NordVPN, in Canada, and I’m able to access all of this on the VizMedia YouTube channel. YMMV, but I’ve tried on a few different U.S servers and haven’t had any issues watching any of the above content.

It’s usually fairly cheap, or available on deals. Might be worth a shot.

Microsoft also made the choice to delay Halo for a year on the eve of a console launch. Maybe instead of placing blame on a competitor they should learn a lesson from them.

We can probably agree to disagree, but to me the inspirations were clear. There have been a lot of comparisons to Just Cause as well, but I haven’t played those games so I can’t speak from that experience.

I think the Far Cry comparison is more obvious (or any modern Ubisoft game really). The majority of your gameplay

So far in my mind Infinite draws clear inspirations from Far Cry and Breath of the Wild, and while there isn’t a whole lot it does “new” for the genre I think it does most of what it sets out to do rather excellently.

I don’t have the kind of time sink to fully explore all that Far Cry and BoTW have to offer, but I do

I think it’s kind of funny reading that after watching the Xbox Pioneers panel they released recently. Peter Moore talked a bit about how he saw the Xbox as the spiritual successor to the Dreamcast, which makes sense given he was at both companies when those respective consoles launched. I can definitely see it -

I’m going through the museum now online, and you can really tell Microsoft seemed to have a very different culture then compared to the company of today.....I’m just not sure they’ve ever managed to properly get away from that image of stuffy business execs. Probably why you don’t ever really ever hear it called “The M

If it helps make you feel better, having discs for modern titles isn’t a guarantee they will work either. On modern consoles they act more like physical keys to unlock the license for the game than anything else.

I love my Elite Series II but I feel like I’d love it more if it was painted up like Master Chief.

Damnit I’mma gonna do it.  It’s the first Microsoft “special edition” item I’ve actually wanted (minus the Arkham Knight Xbox 360).   I had to pass on the Metroid 3DS, and there’s no way I can get another Series X so I

I think this is exactly where Microsoft will have more success on Game Pass compared to what Netflix, Stadia and Luna are offering. You can download games onto your PC or Xbox and play them as long as they are in the library, where cloud/console streaming is a side benefit to the service.

Not that there isn’t a

Hey whoa. Get back man, you dont know me like that. 😆

I think what irks me about the loot system in this game is that it’s Dungeons & Dragons. You’ve got 40 years of documented magic items and loot at your fingertips and everything named in this game is so generic it hurts. I mean 5th Edition has the color scheme too to some degree but there’s so much variation and

I’m not sure it would have been worth the full price if I had of bought it, which I probably still would have if it wasn’t for Game Pass. I think the game is weirdly polished (the environments and character designs are incredible) but also somehow not at the same time (not much in the way of a story, combat is simple,

I was on vacation for some extra days last weekend and set myself up to finish at least ONE game in my backlog. But life finds a way and I had to be responsible for other things. This weekend is clear (so far). So Warzone with some friends and I plan to finish a playthrough of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance.

I picked up

I still haven’t had enough time to play Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance so I might give that another go this weekend. Mass Effect has been purchased on my Series X, but I likely won’t touch it until I’ve finished my last purchase. I never gave it a fair shot when it came out before so I’m excited to give it a whirl again.

I

I remember when I was younger and I didn’t give a second thought to how video games were made, or the ordeals and struggles developers would go through to get these products into my hands. I just cared about having fun. Now I live for these kinds of articles, and I’m super excited to read your new book.

Coming from

This is just it. And historically, franchises that have made the transition to live action (particularly with Hollywood) haven’t been successful with fans because they have to butcher the source material to make it work. Part of the joy of anime and manga can be the length of those stories, it can be hard to distill

Call of Duty constantly loads up from Quick Resume for me, but because of the requirement for online components I have to go through most of the normal loading regardless when I fire it up. I’d rather just not have it in my Quick Resume pool if the benefit isn’t really there.

For other more always-online games I can’t

I don’t know what prevented them from having these “at a glance” options in Quick Resume at launch. I hope in the future they allow me to pick and choose what gets put into the state. Having a game like Warzone or Destiny 2 in Quick Resume is pretty inconsequential compared to, let’s say, a vast RPG I can’t save on a

It’s unfortunate for my backlog that Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is re-releasing today cause that’s probably what I’ll devote a chunk of my weekend to as well.

And as always, Warzone with my friends across the country in the evenings where I have some time.

I wish they had added online co-op, but I’ll likely still pick it up. I usually play these games with my best friend and couch co-op is a no go in these pandemic times with our current restrictions.

Anyway, it was a great game back in the day and I’m a sucker for nostalgia. $30US seems like a lot for the one game with
